Deathgarden re-launched under a new name and free to play. Dunno how much the engine changed, but the mechanics changed a lot so might be worth taking a second look. I tried the old settings and they feel off but it could just be placebo effect. Deathgarden Blood Harvest on steam.

Seconding World War Z I think it might be Sabertech so I'm trying the Quake Champions setting I'm using. Saber interactive but not same as QC. Way lower sens overall. 1 is QC is normal for me and it's somewhere between 6-12 in this.
