@DPI Wizard In game and config file options for hipfire return exactly the same value/cm360/discrepancy. So, seemingly there's zero point using the config file. Has something broken? Is this an error?
  2. @DPI Wizard Hi. Came back to this game recently and was just looking through my sens (because I want to mess around with some different FOVs - what a pain) and notice that there's extra lines compared to the calculator. I don't recall if they were always there so it's an issue for me because all my GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity values are 1.00000 - (ADS FOV: On // Uniform Soldier Aim: On) .. and these extra lines are all 1.00000 too:- GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1 1.000000 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity2 1.000000 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity3 1.000000 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity4 1.000000 Now, if I change my fov to something like 82.9, my GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity values become 1.177561 but do the above four lines change also or do they stay as 1.00000? Hopefully you see what I'm asking. Cheers.
  3. Make sure you pay attention to the notes under game info.
  4. @DPI Wizard There is an iron sight sensitivity option now too. Might wanna update the calculator.
  5. I notice there is a config file for the sens in the demo of this game - but only to one decimal place. Was this taken into account and that's why only "in game" is available in the calculator, or is the entry outdated? Despite it's looks, it's quite a twitchy game with a reliance on headshots, so it would be nice to get rid of the yellow discrepency if possible, if I were to buy the full version.
  6. @DPI Wizard D'oh - how have I never noticed that. My bad. Thanks.
  7. @DPI Wizard Thanks for the info about the config file - the keybinds in this game suffer from consolitis big time so I'm in and out of the menu all the time, that's probably why I didn't notice that aspect. Re the FOV, the only mention of FOV i saw is in the pic below and only mentions the config file but as long as you're aware, no worries.
  8. @DPI Wizard There is an FOV slider in game now. Also the game resets your mouse sens to the in game value and writes that to the config file. This is rounded to the nearest decimal or two decimal points it seems, so 0.732641 becomes 0.7 and 0.079922 becomes 0.08 - this could make a big difference if you're just above or below the half way point since 0.749 or 0.751 would be 0.7 or 0.8 respectively. Setting the inpuit config file to "read only" fixes the values in the file but I'm not sure if the game still rounds it up anyway - hard to say yet with my values.
  9. @DPI Wizard Just FYI there is a sensitivity slider in this now. It does appear to be just the calc value x 100 i.e. 0.81 = 81% but you may wanna update the calc anyway if you're feeling thorough.
  10. btw @DPI Wizard there are a few weapons missing from the calculator. Some that were added in later patches. Kyubi and Nue, for example .. but others I noticed too, that I can't recall right now. Just in case you didn't know.
  11. Gotcha, OK. It's close enough that if I pick up a new weapon, I don't immediately have to quit game and go into the config, so it's not an issue really. Just curious. Probably could have given it a bit more thought before asking Thanks for the fast answers.
  12. @DPI Wizard but surely the calculator should still return 1.6 or 1.65 for the zoom in game since that's what the game sets note, the only thing I'm changing is the in game / config drop down on the calculator
  13. Hi @DPI Wizard Can you explain why, for zoom sensitivity, a config value of say 1.646039 translates to an in game value of 1.55 in the calculator but in game the config value gets rounded up to 1.65? Is there a reason for that or is it a calculator error? Cheers.
  14. Ah, that makes sense. I was leaving zoomsensitivityall at 1 and changing every scope sense to 0.888877, which was a bit of a pain but is what the default calcuator results showed. This'll make things easier to tweak if I change fovs - thanks for the help
  15. Hi @DPI Wizard what should I be setting the coefficient to, to get my zoom sens feeling like Siege (ADS fov aside) - I assume zero but I'm not sure which settings correspond for each game? Also I've seen someone set their coefficient at zero but then all their zoom sensitivities set to 1. I assume they have tailored their fov and/or sens so they can just leave them all at 1 and that I shouldn't be doing that and I should be inputting the value that the calc gives me? Lastly, would the results for USA on be the same as USA off but with the different sens's for each scope - comparing below. There's a minute amount more discrepency. Are there any impactful downsides to either way?
