More specifically, what is objectively better to use in games like R6: Siege, Escape From Tarkov, Insurgency: Sandstorm or even CS:GO (I know it's mainly hip fire, still though)?
Background: I've always been a guy of efficiency and technique when it comes to skills and gaming. I've always used 360deg/cm in Siege. It also seems that most of the top players use or at least are around this type of style. However, I notice that this website really advocates making your set-up around the MDH set-up. From my understanding, it is because it helps with hand-eye coordination. You look at a spot on the screen, you flick to that spot of the screen. This is to make it more consistent no matter the magnification or FOV. A pro to using MDH is that my aiming feels more accurate. The con, it feels sluggish when moving on to the next target. Already being in ADS vs snapping in and out of ADS can make a difference in a gunfight, especially in the games I mentioned.
I understand I have a back and forth proposition.
Nonetheless, can someone, please, give a good reasoning why MDH is better than 360deg/cm or vice versa? Honestly, I'm wanting to hear more solid reasonings to use MDH in, lets say, "R6: Siege". Let me hear your experiences!
I am willing to adjust how I play to try it.
Thank you!
