Hey there, I'm trying to match all my sensitivity settings across the board, now even when it comes to my mouse pointer out of game.
So I checked to what my current Valorant settings (.5, 800 DPI) would tell my to set my DPI at so the Windows cursor would match, and it says 500 DPI, cool. So then to correct my Valorant sense I plugged in my new 500 DPI and it told me to put Valorant at .804 and it feels about right... However, now I'm trying to match that sensitivity to Final Fantasy 14 online, which used to be at .02778 when my mouse was at 800 DPI. But now when I convert from Windows @ 500 DPI it's saying my final fantasy sense should be 0.016456 which is lower than it used to be when my DPI was 800. Instead I tried putting the convert from as my new Valorant settings .804 500 DPI, and it says my final Fantasy sense should be 0.146000 which looks more correct as the number should increase when I lower my DPI...
But I just don't get what's going on, shouldn't they all convert from and to the same thing now?
Windows 500 DPI > Valorant .804 500 DPI
Valorant .804 500 DPI > Final Fantasy 0.146000 500 DPI
Final Fantasy 0.146000 500 DPI > Windows 500 DPI (what I would think it should be)
Because this is what the tool actually reads:
Windows 500 DPI > Valorant .804 500 DPI
Valorant .804 500 DPI > Final Fantasy 0.146000 500 DPI
Final Fantasy 0.146000 500 DPI > Windows 850 DPI
If I go from Windows to Valorant to Final Fantasy back to Windows, shouldn't I arrive back at 500 DPI? Isn't the whole point that things would match?
What am I missing?
