  1. Are aim and mouse sensitivity the same? In HxD it only changes one of the sensitivities.
  2. Anyone able to confirm it the config sens works now? I change my sens in-game and when I re-checked my config it had changed....maybe it's working now?
  3. Any config file that I can customize the sens value to be exactly the same as my CSGO? off by a little bit.
  4. Can't 360 in game so I can measure for my sens so pretty useless....also after every start of a round the sens gets reset to default. Has some potential though, but how do you expect people to try their best if they can't measure for their normal sensitivity.
  5. Thank you for this!
  6. phew...relieved But what do you mean the values are the same? You're saying that the same value that you use in BF4 is the same as hardline?
  7. Are you completetly sure there's not any other file or something that has the sens values 0.o?
  8. Thank you wizard! I'm currently not using AWP cause yeah, the two scopes just give me different sens movements. I'm waaaay more comfortable w/ the COD zoom. I can snipe kill easily on COD, but not so much in CSGO. However, after doing 360 measuring I believe it's kinda different because of the zoom. I 'THINK" it's 8x zoom on COD, the first zoom sens in csgo it just kinda too high to use on 1 zoom sens on 1800DPI. If you for some reason can't do anything about it it would be nice if you sort it out to us by explaining how it can't be fixed and this is how it feels because the zoom is like this and that blah blah etc etc.
  9. DPI Wizard. Could you please look into having the regular scope for call of duty games the same as the first zoom option in csgo (awp)? Apparently having a different zoom sensitivity affects regular sensitivity 0.o..not by MUUUCH, but it would make a very significant improvement. Try it if you don't believe me. Use 0 zoom sens and 1.0 zoom sens with an AK or M4. I'm using 1800 DPI and having 1.0 as zoom sensitivity is just not right, it's tooooo high...not like in Call of duty that it's just so easy to snipe people since the zoom sensitivity apparently configures itself to the regular sens. Anyways could you work into calculating COD regular sniper zoom sensitivity into the first scope option on CSGO? PLEASEEE I can make a big donation for it...PLEASEEE
  10. Good explanation, when it happens I'm pretty much changing long sens digits very fast. Or should I say happened* Problem gone... thanks for the fix
  11. Would you happen to have an idea if I will be able to set a lower number than the 0%...'IF' they include a config file w/ values at release? I believe I have 0 in BF4 control in-game menu, and of course my config file sens at around 0.00027965..... I have 1800 DPI and distance of (16.5289) and in BFhardline it just comes up as if I would need to lower more the sensitivity. http://i.gyazo.com/5d1589500623c0e756ee379e2c527daf.png ...so I apparently have to have a bit higher DPI, not lower and my mouse doesn't have that specific DPI value...great x.x hopefully config file enables me to adjust a working sens.
  12. It's been almost a week that when I try to use the caculator I keep getting these page errors out of nowhere constantly. http://i.gyazo.com/5b1c2abdc2c978c1f6512160eeca4c19.png http://i.gyazo.com/bf2c8e2661ed93d14273224ebf52b470.png While changing settings in the caculator it out of nowhere stops refreshing the values and freezes and if I try to reload the page I get those "No Data Received" errors. I reload several times and still get that. I have to wait a couple of minutes for the website to work again. But the same happens if I use the caculator again, after some seconds of using it it freezes and same thing. At first it wasn't a big deal, but seems like it won't fix itself anytime soon.
  13. Thanks!
  14. Game is well optimized, I'm not personally liking it due to the exo movements and some occasional lag when a match starts along w/ some other minor problems that'll get fixed w/ patches eventually. But I gotta say...game runs pretty good, nothing compared to ghosts.
  15. Mine works fine non-incognito mode w/ adblock: http://i.gyazo.com/3506bde7dac0d5bbde98aa2133e5e241.png incognito mode no adblock: http://i.gyazo.com/4b2c11d2d6d5e27d004d9418d7fc932e.png You can see I only get ads in incognito mode.
  16. So I decided to think math for a bit though I'm probably the worst person ever in math and.. CS:GO 1.2 divided by 0.9 = 1.333333333333333 15 3's BF4 BF4 6/11 0.0036394 divided by 1.333333333333333 = 0.00272955 apparently it's still not right, it's slower than in my other games. ________________________________________________________________ EDIT: Told you I was bad at math hahah asked my fiancee and she cleared up my bad math. CS:GO 6/11 0.9 divided by 5/11 1.2 = 0.75 BF4 0.0036394 divided by 0.75 = 0.0048525333333333 When I tried that right now it felt like other games finally x.x However, when I shut off the game right now it rounded itself to only one 3 at the end..but I'm guessing that doesn't really make a difference :S I'm still up to donate some money specifically for working on WPS for raw input games if it needs work if just enabling it wouldn't work....don't take it as a priority though....but I mean, at least for future games?
  17. Hmm...okay that's a good reason for having it off I guess. But for me personally don't notice any unstableness on CS:GO w/ 5/11 raw input off, some CS:GO pros even play at 3/11 and 5/11 and they're aim is still top notch. I got help for this conversion from a CS:GO pro regarding converting the 6/11 to 5/11 since it's disabled on the calculator...so what I'm getting at is that if he was able to convert it by who knows how...I'm guessing it could at least be done right? I tried asking him for BF4, but he had no clue about the game. the conversion the CS:GO pro did for me CS:GO 12.987 inch 360 1080p 90 fov 6/11 0.9 sens 1400 dpi gave this to him from the calculator then he replied to me w/ the conversion 5/11 1.2 sens 1400 dpi It is definitely correct since 360 rotation is actually SUPER ON SPOT for me. I do get you that you disabled it due to the unstableness that you personally seem to get, but I mean from my end 5/11 w/ mousefix and the other 1:1 program doesn't cause a problem for me. Is there any way that you can turn it on? or is that WPS for those games not done at all and need to at least be worked on? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I know you're busy, so if you need to work at it I could send you some donation money for that specifically....you could just see it as a task that would gain you some specific money for it. I would REALLY want to play BF4 w/ this new 5/11 sensitivity by this week
  18. I recently started playing w/ 5 WPS since I turned up my DPI. And yes, I know the 1:1 thing...i fixed it w/ mousefix and another 1:1 program. I really wanna play BF4 at least with my new settings. I figured a workaround for CS:GO at least which would now be 1400 DPI 5 WPS 90 fov 1.2 sensitivity 1080p Horizontal 4:3 My 360 rotation is 12.987 inches. How can I translate that to BF4 with 5WPS? Help would be really appreciated. Edit: After messing around with sensitivity values I was able to find the sens value for my 12.987, but I really need it converted to 5WPS :/ http://i.gyazo.com/872c96d3bc3aaf846b7deec904921829.png
  19. Mr. Wizard Could you add Alan Wake to the calculator? It's about time I play that game since I've had it for over a year.
  20. I don't think it would match so good w/ www.mouse-sensitivity.com don't you think? That's kind of interesting though Back when I used to play with a controller on console the only technique i would kind of use would be timing my 360 degrees. I suppose it would just be interesting to know if people use any other methods or if there's any possible ones. I would personally say forget it since I don't plan on playing on consoles. If it happens in this site it would just slow down releases for the PC side. Hell, maybe there's already a website like this, but dedicated to consoles..wouldn't hurt to check
  21. oh yeah absolutely, the only difference that I had noticed was pretty much placebo effect after thinking so much about it. At the time, I measured around 20+ times and just kept on getting so much close ones, but still kind of some miniscule differences since I measured at different speeds. The whole thing that threw me off through was that I compared my BO2 sens definitely just a bit more accurate w/ my ratio and all that compared to COD4 on a 1 hour run in each game. Anyways, thank you for your latest explanation on at least knowing there is just no way that I can use the six decimals. Gets me the worry out of knowing I'm not wasting my time playing daily knowing that sens exists on the game and I'm playing rather than trying to figure it out. Just came back from a weekend trip and after playing cod4 right now I already know I'm satisfied since instead of placing on the top 3 like mostly before I just pretty much keep on placing 1st in promod pubs knowing I hadn't played since Thursday. Thanks so much for taking your time on this..you don't really know how much I appreciate this website...I've pretty much found the website I've been searching for 2 years since I always kept on changing sens trying to find an improving one. Now I won't be wasting so much time on some games trying to perfect my sensitivity since there is quite list that I've struggled with.
  22. I was just stating what I've read from some forums, I'm not 100% about the 16:9 making it 90 since I do know the default fov is low...but I don't even know it since I've read different stuff. Some people say default is 60 others 70...and other 75...let me search what I had previously read awhile back........... ........... http://i.gyazo.com/f2aee26f6e054cdd8268b2cf01919fec.png I didn't even remember it well...apparently I had read that 4:3 was the 90fov. Also, I remembered that last year I changed this in the game....I got this from a big youtuber that this supposedly made FOV 90 http://i.gyazo.com/e83d684c0c1cd9ce9c5db18d5dcdf0b8.png It doesn't really look like 90 fov at all. but my guess is that it somehow manipulates the sens or something? I just measured right now and yup....my sensitivity is the same as BO2 on 90 fov.
  23. I've seen that if you're on 16:9 1080p that the game supposedly turns into 90 FOV. I used 90fov in the calculator and it gave me the same 4.42 sensitivity that I get w/ other source games.
  24. Several double check measuring and tests while playing today I was able to verify that the rounding of my sens making it just a tad faster compared to CS:GO & BO2 sens that I get which I'm more accurate with. I'm pretty sure that it should be able to get that kind of number if it wouldn't round since that kind of move sensitivity should exist. I'm thinking about maybe trying the default cfg since I'm using a custom cfg from cfg factory for tweaks & all that and maybe for some reason the cfg has something that rounds up certain things or something.
  25. You kind of have a point. Surprisingly Black ops 2 sensitivity & source games give me the same sens BO2 = 4.42 on 200 DPI CS:GO/half-life 1&2/garrys mod/etc also calculates it to 4.42 and it's indeed the same. COD4 along w/ other games give me long decimals. Problem is that for example it has already been concluded that Sniper elite III has some type of acceleration. I measured sniper elite V2 once for 5 min and I didn't feel any acceleration. So maybe III has some acc and v2 doesn't. IMO it's not really that safe to conclude that EVERY game will have everything similar in the engine regarding movements/fov/etc.
