The Source engine including CS:GO has and anomaly when capping fps Don't cap your fps in CS:GO especially at the same number as your tickrate! The original source unfortunately got deleted :/ I only have this picture to show what I mean (Note: I do not created this graph.) Regarding your questtion tho: No, fps do not effect sensitivity in CS:GO, but dawtimes on the Frames when capped. In other games I still recommend capping fps so your aim feels more consistent, but only when there is a build in fps-limiter into the game. All third party tool will add input-lag!

New PC Player Sensitivty Suggestions
WhoCares? replied to TheRealTish's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Personally I go as low with my sensitivity as my movement is not hindert. "Not hindert" imo means that I am able to achieve a 360-400° turn from the left to the right side of my Mousepad comfortably So normally I would suggest to use a higher sensitivity if your 360° turning-range is affected, but in your case you are still new into using a mouse for gaming..... My tip: stay with your sensitivity for some more time, and if you notice that your arm mobility for big swipes doesn't improve over time, use a higher sensitivity! btw, 75cm/360 is definitely in the extrem low sens segment -
Why does Viewspeed make my sens so slow?
WhoCares? replied to lutthen's topic in General Gaming Discussion
When playing streched your enemie is streched too, so the "hit-able" surface (on the same Monitor size) compared to a non streched enemie is bigger indeed. This comes with the lost of a few degrees of fov and different x and y axis sensitivity of cause, but.. a wide fov isn't that importand in csgo ( in my opinion ), because most of the time you have a pretty good idea where your enemie is coming from and you can pre-aim. Edit: Oh yes, and i think there is a lot of placebo and gaming habits But if you feel more comfortable while playing you more consistent and better so play however it floats your boat -
Yeah, let's hope the best Still, I don't get why so many game producers are so greedy about an few extra degrees of fov
-
Uff I was hoping for at least 107 (106.26 to be precise )
-
Whats the maximum fov if I may ask? (including this awquard 4% reduction)

Why is this in "technical diskussion" ? Apart the fact this might be the wrong Website at all you can put it in the "Off Topic" subforum..

Program used to move mouse a set distance?
WhoCares? replied to BobTheBuilder12's topic in Technical Discussion
Maybe this programm will work. But be warned, since it is an external program it might trigger VAC or stuff http://www.coksoft.com/mouse-emulator.htm -
Real life sensitivity (challenge for ze wizard)
WhoCares? replied to SladeNova's topic in Technical Discussion
All fine man And if it is possible or not...in VR games or maybe eye-tracking implementationit it might play a roll, but when using a flat 2D Screen I don't think it would work nor make a whole lot of sense -
Real life sensitivity (challenge for ze wizard)
WhoCares? replied to SladeNova's topic in Technical Discussion
I said giving a challange to Dpi wizard about finding out a sensitivity for overwatch that is equivalent to reaction of someone in real life is wast of time, with the justification that you can't compare videogames with the way humans perceive the enviroment in real life. I bet he as other things to do like adding new games, working on the framework of the website or answering other forum Posts. If you are making your money with that stuff that thats totally fine:) Never said that your job is a wast of time, just that challange. -
Real life sensitivity (challenge for ze wizard)
WhoCares? replied to SladeNova's topic in Technical Discussion
Not to be rude, but I don't see the use of this other than wasting time you could spend otherwise on more important things. You can't compare videogames with real-life. In every way. -
Depends. In most cases 75% offers the best compatibilit. If you have the option for viewspeed than use that. There will be (hopefully) a new method in the near future, but it's not in the calculator yet.

Really good work! I wished I would have helped to work out this new formula, but my mathematical understanding isn't good enough :/ I followed the whole "Best USA coefficient for Battlefield 1" thread and tryed to understand everything, but at some point I got lost I downloded your file and tested it incsgo and it really felt amazing! At every fov

I heard the rumour that the increase in cpu usage (regardless what hz) is only when you move the cursor over the Desktop, but not actuelly in-game where it is important. Did you test it just on the Desktop? For me if I just open Microsoft Word and move my cursor there is no increase in CPU usage but on the blank Desktop there is.. Can anyone confirm this?
-
Yes !
-
There is no Discrepancy. For both you (csgo and in H1Z1) you need 51.9545cm for an 360° Or what do you mean?
-
360° Distance? If I remember correctly "monitor distance" and "viewspeed" are premium only... For 360° hipfire it would be MouseSensitivity=0.039443 in H1Z1

Can someone help me convert CSGO sensitvity to R6S?
WhoCares? replied to SyberChapa's topic in Technical Discussion
If it is so important for you, why not spend $2.99 ? -
A little note to the Glorious XL Heavy I recently bought: In the summer when my hand is a little swetty my hand starts to stick on the mousepad. To be fair most mausepads have this issue, still I was hoping this Mousepad woudn't :/ Otherwise still a great Mousepad

What is the max FoV in Killing Floor 2?
WhoCares? replied to HaruNanase's topic in Technical Discussion
You can tweak the value in the .ini file. I think the fov is nearly unlimited there, in contrast to the in-game slider The file is in your documents under: MyGames->KillingFloor2->KFGame->Config. It's called "KFGame" The value itself is called "FOVOptionsPercentageValue". Default hfov for 16:9 is 90 . If you use a multiper by 1.1806667 it will result in the trusty 106.26 hfov 16:9. Maybe the max, FOVOptionsPercentageValue is 2, I don't know. But who needs a 180 hfov?-

Thank you ! Btw, do you know if the game has the basic 75% match at distance for aim down sights? I really would like to know
-
For me the fov is hfov based on 16:9 and not 4:3 like the calculator says. So 90 fov in the settings are 90 hfov ingame not not 106.26. I had to Change it in the Settings to 106.

Bought the subscription, no idea how to do it
WhoCares? replied to vincenity's topic in Technical Discussion
vfov=vertical field of view hfov=horizontal field of view The calculator uses the correct fov-type for the game already. No Need to change it If you are new to sensitivity calculation, you might wanna read some Basics: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/8-terminology/ https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/7-faq/ And yes, you have to change the value in a config file to the number the calculator gave you More about this here -> https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/6-instructions/
