  1. If I am using a 21:9 instead of a 16:9 Display should I still match it to 75% or another value? (You said 75% is standard in most games) 21:9 has 33% more vertical screen space, so 75x1.333 = 100% So would 100% on 21:9 be better to achieve the same feeling as 75% on 16:9? Or just leave it?
  2. Well, I guess I have to trust you that your calculations are correct I dont understand how the DPI Analyzer works, but I guess it is just my mouse than.... :/ Unfortunate coincidence that the false calculator from yesterday fits to my mouse better than the correct calculator from today^^
  3. Since the FOV OFF/ON update I get different values for the calgulator and these values are wrong in contrast to yesterday. I'am not not really converting, I am using a fixed 360° distance for a specific sight. Bf3 had a x 0.16 reduction in speed for a 8 times zoom. So when I need 43.18cm in hip, I need 269.875cm when ADS. To get 269.875 and a 8 times zoom in bf1 I had to increase the GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity8x00 value to 1.715219. And this value was correct. But today when I want to get 269.875 cm the calculator gives me GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity8x00 1.843169. And thats not correct. Its too fast :/ Am I missing something? :/ Another example with an 6x scope: But I Need 353 cm (Handtested) In-game. I dont know the excact distance the claculator gave me yesterday, but it was pretty close to arround 355 cm. I know why handtesting isnt that great, but 15 cm difference seems a little bit too much
  4. Are your sure the calculator is correct after the ADS FOV Update? For me it seems wrong. Before the update is was right. Here an example: Yesterday this settings gave me 269.875 cm: Sense 0.0027; DPI 1200; SoldierZoomSensitivityAll 1.00; Coefficient 0.00 SoldierZoomSensitivity8x00 1.715219; FOV 73.73979 I handtested it and it was correct Today, when I am using the ADS FOV OFF calculator (cause I am using ADS scaling OFF) I get this value for 269.875 cm : 1.843169 (Both times I used an FOV of 73.73979!) But this value isnt correct. When I test it In-Game I get arround 255 cm Is seems like all sights values given by the calculator are to high, so it takes less cm for 360° turn
  5. Preferences.
  6. Really appreciate your hard work DPI Wizard !! If someone is interested: I solved my the problem with the conversion from the Bf3/4 8x Sniper Zoom sensitivity to the one in Bf1 If you use USA 1.33 and a vfov of 73.74 than use: GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity8x00 1.355320 When using USA 0.00 use GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity8x00 1.715219 I can confirm the values by hand tests It feels a little bit more sensetiv cause the fov is smaller on 8x zooms in bf1 than in Bf3/4, but it made my aim pretty much the same like like in older Battlefield titles
  7. Yeah, it is working correctly now With 73.74 fov I need 115.69cm (I hand tested arround 120cm, but I guess yours is correct and I was just lazy! )
  8. Well that explains a lot thanks
  9. No, but it doesnt matter for the calculation, at least the 360 distance does not change if I change the fov as you can see below.
  10. Calculation (for sights) is off for me :/ Any ideas why? Here are my Settings: Raw Input on; DPI 600; 0.0104 sens; USA On; Coefficient 0; SoldierZoomSensitivityALL 1.00 ; All scopes are at 1.00 (default) sens; ADS scaling off 2.00x Sights should give me 86.2947cm, but handtestet it is like 120cm 1.00x Sights in your calculator gives the same 360 distance (43.18cm) as hip fire, but it is defenitly not the same. 1.00x Sights are slower than hipfire.
  11. Okay, I read every 9 pages and I guess a have a pretty good idea from what the coefficient is. But there is still one question I can't answere myself: What excacly does a coefficient of 0.0000 does? Is it like the game is seen as a 2D surface? For me 0.000 feelts the best. Better than 1.33 or any other value, and I have no clue why, I thought 1.33 should feel " most natural" cause the majority is using it
  12. Bf3 sights 1x (rds): vfov 40, speed 0.5: 80 ratio (65,81043502 hfov) 1x (irons): vfov 40, speed 0.5: 80 ratio (65,81043502 hfov) holo: vfov 32, 0.32 speed: 100 ratio (54.0222067 hfov) 3.4x: vfov 20, 0.36 speed: 55.5556 ratio (34.80930558 hfov) 4x: vfov 17.2000001, 0.31 speed: 55.4838 ratio (30.09774316 hfov) 6x: vfov 11.6, 0.21 speed: 55.2380 ratio (20.47232725 hfov) 7x: vfov 9.9, 0.21 speed: 47.14 ratio (17.50643884 hfov) 8x: vfov 8.7, 0.16 speed: 54.37 ratio (15.4030109 hfov) 12x: vfov 5.8, 0.11 speed: 52.7272 ratio (10.29216031 hfov) You are welcome
  13. Tank you !!! Your Website is truly a must-have for every hardcore PC-gamer!
  14. Bf3 has no USA, there is just a flat reduction in mouse Speed regardless of fov. I tested it really quick. My hip fire is 48.252 cm for an 360 in Bf3. When using a 8x I need arrond 300 cm handtested . 48.252/300 = 0.16084 , so 0.16 is correct. All I want is that it takes me 301.575 cm with an 8x Zoom on a Sniper Rifle to do a 360 in Bf1
  15. In Bf1 I am using 73.7397 vfov so my ratio would be 7.45/73.7397 =0.1013 when using USA with coefficient 1 In Bf3 there is no USA and the reduction in a flat 0.16 So if i a using 157,94 % for 8x zoom it should be the same sense, right? My mathematical understanding is not enough for this I guess... :/ @Capta Praelium do you have a source or it is hand testet? I woud like to read out the other fov's as well
  16. Bf3 uses a vfov of 8.7 and a hfov of 15.403 for 8x times zoom. But Bf1 8x fov is another one :/ And i dont know what it exacly it :/
  17. Yeah i wanna reduce it, but i dont like choosing a approximately value. I want to convert it 100% accurat Bf3 used a x 0.16 reduction compared to Hipfire. Thats want I want in Bf1 too (Or in other words 6,25 as much mouse distance for a 360 than normal hip)
  18. I played a ton of Bf3 (arround 200k sniper sniper kills with 8x zoom) and when enabeling USA in Bf1 I can't hit sh** My sensitivity feels so off :/ When your scope sensitivity for Bf1 is out, I have find a way to adjust 8x Zoom Speed when using USA
  19. There are so many posts about the coefficient, i read all but only got confused more :/ Just two general question: Is the coefficient still in use when not using USA? Is the coefficient just the speed of X and Y axis ?
  20. DPI Wizard, any official statement from your side wether the sensitivity is still the same like in Bf4? And are you going to add other scope too, like in Bf4?
  21. Would you advise me to double my DPI from 400 to 800, to a Pixels/Count:0.5. Just in case....
  22. But does zooming in really matters? I mean when hitting every pixel you hit every pixel and there is nothing between it, right? Shouldn't it look the same at 1:1 or 1:10? And do games still interpolate mouse movement, when using raw input? I can hit every horizontal pixel with the crosshair without skipping any with my settings, so i guess that's the optimum or not?
  23. It is totally smooth for me. I am just wondering why DPI Wizard is telling another Story
  24. Can you explain why a 1:1 ratio between the grid and pixels isn't 100% smooth? Theoretically it should be jitter free, or not?
  25. Luckily it made it in the today's patch! Perfekt timing
