Use viewspeed or match at 75% monitor distance. As Drimzi already said...360 distance is really outdated

I would love to hear some feedback about the Glorious XL Heavy or the Cooler Master Storm Swift-RX Large I can't decide which one I am going to buy, cuz they are all very similar to eachother: Cooler Master Storm Swift-RX Large Glorious XL Heavy Razer Gigantus Roccat Taito 2017

High Sensitivity vs. Low Sensitivity
WhoCares? replied to Elias Rössel's topic in Technical Discussion
For games with 74vfov I am playing with 40.6 cm /360° right now. Maybe I am going to buy a 10-keyless board and lower my cm/360° to something like 47 or 56 cm/360°, but I am not sure yet- 7 replies

Really good overview of mousepads! I am using a Steelseries Heavy and a Zowie G TF-X, but I might give the Roccat Taito or the Razer Gigantus a try I really like the The Zowie G TF-X, is hybrid between plastic and Cloth, but I have the same problem like you (with "glossy" pads) , that my hands like to get stuck on it when it is a little sweaty And for the mices...well I cant use ambidextrous due to some proplems with my hand..I need some ergonomic mice. But I think for people who like ambidextrous mice, they get some good informations here (y) (Btw..do you know Rocket Jump Ninja from Youtube? )

Need slightly more clarification on monitor distance matching
WhoCares? replied to Kilroy's topic in Technical Discussion
My concern is that a lot of games (not to say most...) dont have adjustable aim down sights sensitivity :/ I mean it's really good when 2D viewspeed and 3D viewspeed are the same,..it feels amazing; but you cant use it in a lot of games. In the other hand the implementation of a match at 75%screendistance is a solide choise and used in most games. I am not sure If I am going to stick with 75%, or using viewspeed in all game where it is possible. For 2D to 3D-hip fire, I will use viewspeed no doubt. Still, viewspeed is definitely the superior method, and I hope more games will support adjustable aim down sights sensitivity in the future! (I know a lot wont, but hope dies at last ^^) -

BF1 USA Coefficient setting for 25% screen distance
WhoCares? replied to jabbothehut's topic in Technical Discussion
I am not completly sure about your question but I think u mean this: https://pl.vc/1c7auk (sorry the build in uploader doesnt work for me again ) So you need 0.444444 = 44.4444% -
BF1, CS:GO, + Rainbow Six Siege screen distance matching.
WhoCares? replied to jabbothehut's topic in Technical Discussion
Yes. But personally I would stick to 75% screen distance for greatest flexibility between games. But if 100% (=coefficient of 177% ingame) feels better for you, go for it Remember...even tho 100% sound better than 75% it isn't. Your sensitivity only matches up at one point. If you match at 100%, the sensitivity is only correct at 100%. At 99% or 101% screen distance there is already a discrepancy. In the end it doesn't matter if it is 0%, 50%,75% or 100%. Take that what feels better for you. -
BF1, CS:GO, + Rainbow Six Siege screen distance matching.
WhoCares? replied to jabbothehut's topic in Technical Discussion
Some people like lower sensitivity when using sights. I would love to match up hip and ads too, but....: how many games do you know with a seperat ads-sensitivity slider/config file? And how much from these games have sight-calculation on this website? If you match up hip and ads in just 3 games, all other games with reduction in sensitivity when using scopes (and no option to change it) would feel strange. "75% is the standard in many games between hipfire and scopes." (Quote from DPI Wizard :http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/539-what-does-match-at-mean/) So 75% match at distance" is what I am going with cause it provides the greatest flexibility between games. If you ar only playing Bf1, csgo and rainbow6, that matching up ads and hip is great -
BF1, CS:GO, + Rainbow Six Siege screen distance matching.
WhoCares? replied to jabbothehut's topic in Technical Discussion
0.82 matches ads and hip sensetivity in csgo. But jabbothehut want the same feel when using scopes between different games. 1.0 in the way to go then. In bf1 the coefficient has to be 1.333333. And for raionbow six....well I hope the scopes matches at 75% screen distance If you play exclusively csgo than 0.82 is a good value but not when um play a lot of different shooters -
Request for "match at" distance for 21:9 displays
WhoCares? replied to WhoCares?'s topic in Technical Discussion
Did you find a fix to solve the problem? -
I guess USA OFF is the same as USA 1.000. At least thats how it works in Bf1.

Request for "match at" distance for 21:9 displays
WhoCares? replied to WhoCares?'s topic in Technical Discussion
I dont understand why it doesnt work that way, but okay, I tought it would be that easy Thank you for looking into that -
Hi DPI Wizard! I am planing to buy a 21:9 Monitor and I am wondering if you could add additional "match at" distances specified for 21:9 screens so it feels the same like "match at 75%" with 16:9 and "match at 100%" with 4:3 For 2560x1080 it would be 56.25% (9/16) and for 3440x1440 it is 55.81...% (24/43) I know there are just minor changes in the resulting distance, but I would like to have it as precisely as possible #PCMasterrace Best wishes WhoCares

Windows -> Bf1 differs from Bf1 -> Windows
WhoCares? replied to WhoCares?'s topic in Technical Discussion
Thank you a lot I had already thought that there is some kind of rounding, but there was 0 % discrepancy so i thought it had to be correct Again, thank you for your interest and your hard work (y) -
Hello DPI Wizward I noticed that the calculation from Windows Desktop Mode to Bf1 differs from Bf1 to Windows Desktop mode. From Windows Desktop mode to Bf1 with 300 DPI and 75% Match I should use GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.022271. But when doing the other way arround from Bf1 with 0.022271, 300 DPI and Match at 75% I get 350 DPI instead of 300 DPI for Windows Desktop mode. I dont think it is a bug or your calculations are wrong, I just dont understand why it differs. Can you explain to me why? :) Win-> Bf1https://pl.vc/10h90k Bf1-> Win https://pl.vc/151ppl (The file size is oddly enough too big to use the built in uploader :/ 90KB ) Best wishes Who Cares

That are great news!! Looking forward it

Should I set the coefficient in Bf1 to 1.7777 (or 0.5625-1) when using 21:9 aspect ratio ?

What does "match at %" mean?

Thank you DPI Wizard! Your fast answers are impressive! EDIT: One more question Should I set the coefficient in Bf1 to 1.7777 (or 0.5625-1) when using 21:9 ?
