So judging by what you are saying. Do i actually need to make the conversion? This is what settings i converted: fov 110 in game hipfire 3 in game multiplier 1 To fov 1.49304 config (106 in game) hipfire 3 in game multiplier: 0.987157 config (0.9 in game) This is 360 ads conversion result

Can't do in apex since there is only one sens for ads and scope! But id c how monitor distance can be accurate since muscles memory don't remember the monitor distance but the 360 distance more like. Which mean you only like monitor distance because its slower then more accurate but its not the same sens since muscles memory remember how much distance you ave to move your mouse to aim at a certain degree portion of 360 but d don't take in consideration the monitor distance.
-
well, it doesn't feel that way! I converted my ads from 110 fov ads to 106 fov ads in apex and decided to go for 360 instead because 0% monitor distance conversion felt like a all new sens and a slower sens than what i'm used to.
-
Yes you don't!

On a second tough after playing a few gs with ads conversion to monitor distance, i think the better conversion for muscles memory is 360 instead. I was at first seduce by the monitor distance conversion since it was a big lower and more precise than what i'm used to but it feel like a all new sens. You guys say that its a question of personal preference but at my experience if its muscles memory that you want to preserve than you are better of with 360 distance. Which make sens because what your muscles remember is not the monitor distance but how much you ave to move your mouse to make a certain angle of a 360, if i understand the mechanic correctly. Monitor distance feel the same but it break your muscles memory since the the distance in angles degree is not the same.
-
So ig since ads in Apex is about tracking and flicking then you would go for monitor distance? I mean you don't navigate around with ads in a shooter like apex. What i want is what is best for muscle memory really.
-
And what is better for muscle memory, for ads conversion? 360 or monitor distance?
-
When i converted my ads to 360 i get mouse_Zoom_sensitivity_Scalar_0: 0.987157 but the game won't take the settings and the g set the ads to 1 (default) at g startup. So i tried to set it using monitor distance and then it seems to work, it show 0.9 ads in g when i add the value to the config file 0.929974. What i'm trying to do is convert my ads from 110 fov. I use to play at 110 fov then i realize that 106 what a better choice for me since i c better that way. Old settings: Sensitivity 3.0 Ads: 1 Fov: 110 in game New settings: Sensitivity 3.0 Ads: 0.9 (result i get in g settings after adding the value 0.929974 for monitor distance conversion) fov: 1.4930 (106 in game) I'm guessing that the g doesn't take decimal as ads value and that's why the g round's the number to 0.9 for monitor distance and 1 for 360. If i'm right then i guest that my questions are: Is it better to convert ads to 360 or distance for muscles memory and i'm i doing this right? .

I want to convert my apex settings to swbf2 and i think the conversion setup that i want is 360 distance for both hipfire and ads since its to preserve my muscles memory that i use the conversion system. What method should i use? What is wrong with method that i'm using? Is the result bellow correct? Apex legends settings: 3 hipfire 1.0 multiplier 104 Fov Swbf2 settings: GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.042517 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityAll 1.032778 (I don't remember how i got that result) 70 Fov -
Should I use viewspeed or monitor distance for muscle memory?
Nameless replied to Skidushe's topic in Technical Discussion
Now i get 87.6591 as result for swbf2 vdeg4:3 converted to vdeg swbf2 fov which give 110 once in game. Idk if its because of the 3d person perspective of swbf2 that i get such a high result in fov but Its way to high. Did i did it correctly? I think im gona go with this conversion instead, since i cant play swbf2 with 110 of in g fov and it still prety close in distance even if its not exactly the same sens. Unless u ave a better idea? -
Should I use viewspeed or monitor distance for muscle memory?

I ave a question. If i want to convert my apex sens to battlefront 2. How should i set swbf2 fov to ave a perfect tranfer of sens. Is this possible? I tried manually but it seems like i'm not getting the exact result in 360 distance, no mater what fov i put in the calculator for swbf2. How can i do that? I wouldn't mind changing my swbf2 fov to match the result since swbf2 is a casual g unlike Apex. Thats why i'm using 0% H conversion method. Dpi: 400 Apex settings: 3 in game sens, 1 multiplier ads, 104 fov -

So if i understand your reply correctly, if i want my hipfire to be the same for both games (tracking sens without zoom or ads, without right clicking) i use 0% mdv across the board but then my zoom sens wont be the same as my overwatch zoom sens but will be the same as my ow hipfire sens? but since its my hipfire muscles that i want to preserve over my sniping sens, i should then go for 0% mdv across the board? but i ave to choose between preserving hipfire or zoom sens from ow mouse settings? Is that what u r saying?
-
but isn't possible to ave both, is it not what i'm using right now?
-
Isn't the same since i turn with the same mouse that i aim with, isn't it? I'm talking here about aiming without ads, without holding right click to aim down sight r scope. But to answer your question, its the muscles memory that concern me, only. So that when i track a target i want it to be consistent for both games, yes. But if your question is really do i rather ave the same sens for moving mouse without ads r scope or if i rather having the ads and the scope to feel the same than my answer is i rather ave the no scope sens to be the same since i don't use ads that much in swbf2 and i mind less about having a different scope sens since i wasn't sniping really in ow, if i have to choose of course. i want my sens in swbf2 to be the same as Mccree for example who doesn't ads, from ow, transfer to lea who don't ads either, from swbf2. If that can reflect more clearly what i wan't. but what would be perfect is to ave the same sens from overwath hipfire to all across the board in swbf2 with consistence.
-
Then what is the right method for 360 calculation? Unless u r saying that in my case i cant use the 360 calculation since the fov from both game r diff?
-
but then y do i get a different result here, i'm i doing something wrong? but i get the same result for hipfire. see bellow.
