  1. Cool, that's good. It's just in the Lobby the sens is x/0.6 or so (couldn't wait for a match to load before asking...) The character can't look straight up and straight down, so it's still difficult determining manually if it's exactly 1:1 in game. But no doubt it's 1:1. Thank you!
  2. I'm guessing the vertical sensitivity is x/0.7? Or somewhere around there.
  3. Ahh. Thank you.
  4. So the max discrepancy refers to the 360 degree distance, right? And so -0.4481 inches means the mouse movement is off by 0.4481 inches for a 360 turn. This is what makes sense to me. But I have another question, and that's if I can convert this discrepancy into pixels (i.e.: (360 / FOV) * 1920 * 0.030398) And maybe even 1920 * 0.030398. I'm not sure this would be accurate because they're 3D games; I don't know if this math applies at all, and maybe it wouldn't because I'm using Monitor Distance Horizontal 0%. I'm trying to get a "feel" for it or visual how important it would be. I assume the orange numbers means it's not great but I don't know how bad that is in practice (the same for green numbers). Orange numbers make me think the difference is pretty large, but I don't know.
  5. I think there's a fair amount of Aiming down sights in this game. Does anyone know if optimizing for ads would be better or worse than optimizing for hipfire? I'm not sure what max discrepancy means or how that translates into pixels; I've divided 360 by the hFOV of the game to get a better idea, hoping that's accurate.. doing this because I want to get a feel for how "inaccurate" the discrepancy would be. Because as it is now, "Max discrepancy" doesn't really mean much to me. 650 DPI -> 950 DPI ADS/Hipfire (optimized for Hipfire): https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=73332add73bbc77d107684c71fdd5691 650 DPI -> 1350 DPI (more optimized for ADS): https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=ed8d4eb4ae443fd25489a61cdab21c23 650 DPI -> 2100 DPI (even better for ADS): https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=58942d47368fae4909423051045230e8
  6. I was just changing the CPI. I didn't realize I had to change the circumference too. Honestly surprised; I thought sensitivity and CPI would be enough. Thank you for the help. I really appreciate it. I'm surprised a small deviation can make such a difference when rotating in game. I don't remember that from other games I've measured in the past.
  7. I've been trying to use kovaak's sensitivity matcher, but changing the DPI on my mouse doesn't affect the results. So I've been trying to use a ruler and moving my mouse straight as possible in the survivor and killer tutorial modes. Windows pointer speed is set to 6/11. I've also uncapped Dead By Daylight and framelimited it to 120 fps. I'm converting from Fortnite 0.08 sensitivity 1050 dpi aim all to dead by daylight (1050 dpi for survivor 650 dpi for killer) Killer 1% 650dpi = > 8 inches (which isn't that far from the calculator's result..) survivor 7% 1050dpi > 9 inches Sometimes I get different results. I tried to get the most accurate numbers by moving the mouse in a straight line. I can't trust sensitivity matcher because the dpi it's using is unknown (and unchangeable)
  8. I'll get back to you on this. Is there a config file I should check? I'm not sure Input.ini actually has any effect, but it looks like it hasn't been touched (and to the best of my recollection, it hasn't.)
  9. The calculation for Dead by daylight (both survivor and killer) do not seem accurate. I'm not sure what to do about this expect post about it here.
