Question about true 1:1 Hipfire to ADS Sens
fortunate reee replied to Minzent's topic in Technical Discussion
you need to ask yourself what your definition of "true 1:1" is the calc will give you whatever you set up, or what the game you've selected uses by default that shouldnt be interpreted as a recommendation try all the options for days at a time ( dont go back and forth every 5 mins ) and choose what you like , or choose a "random" / more uncommon number so for 0% or 133 for 1.333 in the end its whatever works for you -
if you try to match stretched res to native you always end up only being able to match 1 axis "perfectly". which might aswell be no axis since you never strictly move on the x or y axis its always a mix.(if you match 360 with a different fov that will feel different but still have the same distance yes 90 and 106,26 will feel off) simpel solution would be to not rely on crutches like stretched res

I need help with converting sens
fortunate reee replied to Cqlne's topic in General Gaming Discussion
i usually ignore stretched messages because they always end up being annoying about their half assed reasoning for using stretched but you havent made it very clear to begin with is your monitor actually 16:10 or are you using stretched res ? if you are on native 16:10 that is as easy as it wouldbe with 16:9 also -
its a weird rounding thing apex does, this has nothing to do with your settings its miniscule so you wont notice much of a difference to begin with
-
if you share what you tried we can tell you where you took a wrong turn if you type your values here you put effort into typing and make use insert the values as well, press share and post the link instead
-
problem with this will always be when your crosshair is not centered at the initial point of your snap that wont be the case and adjsutment s mid flick wont be trained ( a big reason to go against the whole flicking is good aiming theory) while being able to hit shroud like flicks is considered an impressive feat its not actually good aim in the sens of consistency that might not be as flashy as the previously mentioned flick heavie style but prove more efficient overall . that actually is a nice description for the " higher mdv/ mdh values initially feel better" arguemnt that has been made in the past since you have got that one point of accuravy instead of a truely uniform this makes you think that you aim better while allowing you to ignore the benefits of 0% i dont like the use of the term muscle memory since its oftwen miss used or missinterpreted in gaming apart from that this is retty accurate
-
you will generally need to get used to monitor distance match but the thing is that once your brain understands the way the match works it should feel natural ( that can initially , but must not always, take a while ) if you use this others can double check your conversion for you

x% isnt related to precision of the values they are all equally accurate in their own way id suggest you take another look at this it explains what the percentages mean / do

what you are describing here is closer to what happens at most other values what 0%(focal length or zoom ratio) does is matching the zoom giving you a similar experience independent of the fov while not rely ing strictly on one point which is in theorie much more mathematicallysound than most other values. ------------------------------------ this part below is just an my opinion------------------------ in my experience mdh 100 / mdv 100 or other values tends to give you an easier initial feel making many feeel like they are " better " because they are distance based and you dont have te get used to a new system of Sens but they end up not really benefitting you as much as getting used to 0% would the only downsight really is that different 1x scopes zoom different amounts so going fully distance based is misguided when you should focus more on the zoom aspect --------------------------------------------------------also --------------------------- there is no magic pill that will make you better if you arent willing to put in the effort of learning the games you are playing / recoil patterns gunplay you might be looking at it from the wrong perspective if this was your thought. --------------------------- iy you want a more natural feel take takes both distance and velocity into acc you could try using accel

both are perfectly accurate for what they are supposed to do so i dont see a point in asking about their "accuracy " its the wrong term if we are speaking of preference both arguments can be made

Convert CSGO to Apex 4:3 corretly
fortunate reee replied to marmanoff's topic in General Gaming Discussion
you can´t split those each vertical number correlates with a horizontal number and you NEVER strictly move on 1 axis there always is x and y mdv 0% and mdh 0% are identical since it matches the " middle of the screen" mdv 133% is close to 75% mdh ( when on 16:9) mdv 133% is close to 100% mdh (when on 4:3 aspect ) since they match a specific point on the screen that simply changes its position dependign on your aspect ratio ---- i generall leave my resolution on 1920x1080 and select the aspect ratio that is the closest to what i use although i must add that i dont use crutches so i dont do stretched res and useless stuff like that -
Convert CSGO to Apex 4:3 corretly
fortunate reee replied to marmanoff's topic in General Gaming Discussion
most users just stick to the one mdh/mdv value they like if you scroll down the calculator will usually tell you the games default scaling alternatively mdh 100% is a very common scale used by game devs ( valorant , destiny 2) as an example and if you are not certain if there is scalign you can always ask and someone will likely know the calculations wont be " inaccurate" if you use another value that you prefere some games migth not allow you to set more than 1 scope or zoom level at a time tho so that can be a matter of annoyance -- if and when you are matching 2 games with different scaling for example csgo 133mdv and apex 0% mdv =0%mdh you will likely have to pick the one you prefer -
Sensitivity multiplier after moving from cod
fortunate reee replied to trumaxxxx's topic in General Gaming Discussion
tbf wouldnt 1.482758 + 1.526475/ 2= "scalar_0" 1.5046165 be logical as well since that should give you a similar amount of discrepancy for both instead of having one of them work well and the otehr not so much this might lessen the difference not that the difference is very npticeable to begin with -
this tbh i jsut stick to 0% and live with the eventual discrepancies in the cases where i can only use one value liek destiny etc at this point 0% feels to comfortable not to use and the rest is just a matter of warming up if one has a harder time switching between different sens i can see how that would be advantageous

yes, same as all the other games

Rampy R6S Windows Sensitivity
fortunate reee replied to Magico.-'s topic in General Gaming Discussion
this thread has decent info on windows pointer speed so no need to theorise (tldr the guy basically uses 400dpi with extra steps) his ingame settigns are preference they dont make or break your skills so there is little sense in copying that stuff ( especially the aspect ratio and unreasonably large fov) same thing goes for most otehr things pros do -
google translate has this icon which lets you swap in put and output i guess having something similar would be really nice if that isnt overly complicated would be nice to keep your numbers even after the swap instead of manually having to renenter them

Help converting game sens from bfv to hunt showdown.
fortunate reee replied to Grey1999's topic in Technical Discussion
if you are using 1% id actually do 1% instead of 0.01% https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=cc273fad1df60069a02781b60bdce990 but besides that it looks fine if you want more accurate results id suggest using the config file option on your target game + default mode will also be enough for most use cases of this website unles you are looking for 1 specific thing https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=cc273fad1df60069a02781b60bdce990 if you are actually using settings such a low range you could as well try out using 1600 ish dpi there shouldnt be much of a difference , besides giving you a bit more leverage in cases where you dotn have the option to use a config file some games are a bit more restrictive with that stuff- 4 replies
