0% is matching your scopes relative with their zoom/ change in fov (there is no "too slow" with this method ) if you don't like that method you can try using 100% horizontal md id recommend you match !!!!hipfire!!!! with 360 distance and !!!!matching the hipfire fov !!!! after a while using 0% you can use any zoom level on pure experience with other scopes / zoom levels and it is the method you will be the most precise with 0% will be the best long term solution if you want to maintain aim 100% is faster but not as precise generally you want to stick with either of those options and adapt your current ads / scope value to the calculators values since it will work better that way in the long run

you change ads back to 1.0(to have the most uniformity ) and use vertical monitor distance 0% for ads and scope stick to 360 distance for hipfire(to keep the same rotation independent of you hipfire fov) should still try to use the same default fov (match through the calculator and not just putting 90 everywhere ) then you get something like this , and scopes will have the same feel independent of their fov /zoom level and your movement can be carried over from game to game due to 360 distance at least mostly that is Apex Legends - All Sensitivity 1: mouse_sensitivity "2" Multiplier 1: mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0 "1.000000" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_1 "1.000000" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_2 "1.000000" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_3 "1.000000" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_4 "1.000000" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_5 "1.000000" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_6 "1.000000" 360° distance: 51.9545 cm Config FOV: cl_fovScale "1.285717" Actual VFOV: 73.74 degrees Actual HFOV: 106.26 degrees Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - All Sensitivity 1: MouseYawSensitivity=1 Sensitivity 2: XFactorAiming=0.02 Multiplier 1: MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit=0.153589 Multiplier 2: Aim Down Sights 73 (ADS Ironsight) Aim Down Sights 44 (ACOG) Aim Down Sights 43 (Glaz Flip Sight) Aim Down Sights 43 (CSRX 300 5X Zoom) Aim Down Sights 28 (CSRX 300 12X Zoom) 360° distance: 51.9545 cm Discrepancy: 0% (0 cm) Config FOV: DefaultFOV=73.74 Actual VFOV: 73.74 degrees Actual HFOV: 106.26 degrees

gsync it self doesnt add any lag but yeah it feels different https://www.blurbusters.com/ -
How bad are inconsistend frametimes/rate
fortunate reee replied to dutch84's topic in Technical Discussion
need to pay attention to cpu/ gpu bottleneck/ throttling , i got a 240 hz monitor and set it to 144hz in fps games for the lowest possible input lag / stable frames i use 237 gsync for everything not real time -

Not being able to find the right sensitivity for any game.
fortunate reee replied to TGGE's topic in Technical Discussion
win pointer prec should be disabled , some games have acceleration enabled unless you disable it in their config/settings . if you are unable to do a 360 with raw input enabled in game you want to make sure that your mouse doesn't have acceleration . -
go from your current hipfire sense in game 1 to game one ads with if the games you play have an "all "option use it should look like this
-
you should definitely use the save file instead of the ingame apex with 1.0 uses vertical 0% method so you can just use the all option this would be 1.7 800 dpi this box (located under the calculator ) shows you the location of the games settings file so youd open attributed. xml with notepad or whatever editor you got on your pc and change the values the calc gives you
-
you aren't showing your conversion i assume you got it set up like this?\ this should work fine although as far as i can see there might be a fov difference if you set hunt showdown to (location) config file mode you should be able to match your fov to be identical between the two games if you are using ingame 90 fov in apex that comes close to this (at least the vertical fov should be the same im on 4;3) since hunt config file uses vdeg fov you wanna type in the vertical fov of apex so 73.02 for me this would look like this (btw you can enable darkmode if you scroll down all the way and press on theme )

360° Distance This will simply match the distance you have to move your mouse to do a full 360 degree rotation. Most commonly used for hipfire/look aims and sometimes targeting/ADS. Using this for more powerful scopes will make them very sensitivity and make it difficult to aim precisely. The strength of this conversion is that you will have exact same movement for navigating around, for instance turning 90 degrees around a corner or 180 degrees to look behind you. The drawback is that precisely aiming at something on your screen will be different depending on your FOV. This conversion is not available for Windows or 2D games. its all in the instructions i linked you earlier

this is @Drimzi or @DPI Wizardlevel stuff i like using the calculator to improve my aim so that is out of my area of expertise
-
this whole question makes very little sense in the context of 0%/ focal length matching , that somewhat confuses me your question makes it sound like as if you keep swapping values ignoring what the calculator spits out for you if you (while the fov doesn't matter with 0% you still want to use the proper values if the game / aimtrainer doesnt offer scaling. you should match your main game to kovak and then train

i generally like to match my fov to stay close to csgo so i do not really struggle with that anymore . but i used to use 360 distance for all options in my early mouse sensitivity . com stage and i got pretty good with it . However as you already mentioned there is instability connected to this method of conversation , since aim is not purely hand eye coordination this method has its limits compared to other options i still use 360 distance for the equivalent rotation independent of fov and other quirks that might come from games . (different fov for scopes across most games makes it near impossible to perfect aim ) generally the consensus is that you want to use monitor distance for your conversions (it allows for far greater consistency compared to a mouse movement based options and Especially fine tuned aim ) this would be my currently active setup (have recently lowered my sense and have not really suffered from inconsistency ) as mentioned before i like to match "csgo 90 fov " aka 73.74 vertical and 106.26 hor ( using max fov is overrated ) i can do about 1 360 when going across my mouse pad ( mouse movement based movement =good) and my aim is pretty much on point since i use (0%monitor distance) for any aim related effort . if you just want consistent movement in hipfire 360 is the way if you want to retain good hipfire aim you need to match the fov of the game or use monitor distance the instructions pretty much teach you most things
-
escape from tarkov is overly "realistic" and doesnt allow for proper conversion most of the time your best odds are to convert hipfire
-
at this point it has pretty much been figured out that this game is weird when it comes to sensetivity , the odds of getting a consistent match are low
-
should give it a try on your system it works perfectly fine on many pcs , my guess is that gpu spikes on old hardware impacts the limiter cant say since mine doesnt even hit 90% on 240hz gsync, i am still hoping that this matures to rival in game limiters , might as well be game/ engine based

nvidia control panel is about on par and already installed when you have a recent gpu driver

mouse acceleration other games
fortunate reee replied to onuyon's topic in General Gaming Discussion
acceleration is hardly worth the pain that it causes during conversions -
watch the video i shared and set it to what matches your systems performance

Converting Apex/Fortnite sens to osu!
fortunate reee replied to RozeXd's topic in Technical Discussion
its mostly preference but for some of us just play better / more aggressive/confident with 100% another option obviously would be or swap it with 360 hipfire if you cant get used to it (uniformity is key ) in the end there is little point in using something that works mathematically ,but not in practice -
Converting Apex/Fortnite sens to osu!
fortunate reee replied to RozeXd's topic in Technical Discussion
https://sites.google.com/view/fposu/ fps osu is a better option than for fps players tbh might be worth using 100% horizontal for ads and scopes if you want ideal 2d to 3d certainly worth a try (should leave win /2d on 100%hor regardless of other settings) -
id recommedn the 0% vertical option but this ould be another option if you dislike it just make sure to match the fov
-
there seem to be different zoom levels for close/ far etc in game if those can be modded with thishttps://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/1351 @DPI Wizard

0% doesn't have one set value it depends on your fov it is in the range between 71 to 75 although you'd ideally modify your ini file regardless btw that wasn't ment as a front towards anyone that is just my opinion on 83
