it really depened how you set it up when going from desktop to ads it works pretty well have to use rather slow dpi tho , 100% would be an alternative
-
1440x1080 4;3 bb works well for me just create a custom res in nvidia ,set scaling to none and override game settings should work fine that way
-
Rainbow six siege converter is bugged
fortunate reee replied to mr_sushi_ninja's topic in Feedback, suggestions and bugs
-
i use one fixed hipfire fov across all games then 360 distance for hipfire and either 0% or 100% 75% for conversion
-
you should change your hipfire fov in apex to the exact same as it is in ow
-
personally believe that this topic is mostly over rated and tend to stick to the lower dpi range out of pure preference 400/800 cpi , there have been players calling out pixel skipping in the lower ranges but in the end it should not really matter in modern games since 800cpi with 2 is pretty much the same thing as 400 cpi with 4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- polling rate not dpi/cpi this topic is similar to 500hz polling vs 1000hz polling one is objectively more "reactive" for better or worse and the end result does not necessary change (although 1000hz is objectively better when used with gsync/ high refresh rate) others prefer 500hz because it feels "smoother" less bumpy preference is king ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- agree with noob police

@hhr317 saw your post will gladly help you with conversions if you need help
-
bigger ? what method did you use ? if its slower that is pretty normal and actually something you'd want in an ads sense since you want to hit targets if you tell me what your values are (dpi +hipfire value + fov /aspect ratio ) etc ill gladly help you
-
if you are uncertain about your sensor id recommend you test it out with the dpi analyzer o this site ,id recommend https://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.com/2010/03/markc-windows-7-mouse-acceleration-fix.html instead of messing with settings , id recommend against using anything above 1600dpi btw most sensors/games dont do well with values that high
-
those battlefield 3 numbers would fit with any short sights since , if there is a uniform soldier aim option use it .match the hipfire fov and if not match game 1 hipfire with game 1 ads option to get values that fit you can do the same with your dpi / monitor size etc and switch around some numbers maybe you prefer using 0% for ads / scope watch the different fov types when you use the calc ! its easy to mess that up
-
for hipfire 360 is the way to go whilst for aim / ads/ scope you should test out 75%/100% horizontal or 0% (133%/ 178% or 0 vertical) something you want to do is matching the hipfire fov throughout all of the games so since you mentioned csgo id recommend going for 73.74vertical fov with 106.26 horizontal fov
-
i used to jump between 0% and 100% for the longest time , whilst 0% works the best between games it hindered my performance in r6 and some other games whilst 100% wasn't perfect it was "better for my situation" siege really doesn't work with 0% (cant seem to figure out why exactly) 73/133% seems like a slower 100% with better micro flicks certainly makes sense why many battlefield players did not appreciate the change to 178% i like sticking to a rather slow hipfire tho i tend to just match fov across games and 360 hip i must say i have been considering just trying
-
you qualify for the i put my fov at max club , so imma link you this !this applies to most fps games! 360 distance has no set speed, only a set distance so that slight difference in fov you have can cause different speed id still recommend you trying out a lowered fov value that can be used in most games 73.74 siege(vdeg) =90 fov csgo = 106.26 hor in other games 106.26 horizontal would be a good match since it is pretty much what you have in csgo by default in the end its preference but that vid has some valid points

i assume you are using 73.74 vertical 16;9 since you did not mention anything else (and that would be default csgo fov) Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - All Sensitivity 1: MouseYawSensitivity=10 Sensitivity 2: XFactorAiming=0.02 Multiplier 1: MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit=0.02 Multiplier 2: Aim Down Sights 73 (ADS Ironsight) Aim Down Sights 44 (ACOG) Aim Down Sights 43 (Glaz Flip Sight) Aim Down Sights 43 (CSRX 300 5X Zoom) Aim Down Sights 28 (CSRX 300 12X Zoom) 360° distance: 39.8982 cm Config FOV: DefaultFOV=73.74 Actual VFOV: 73.74 degrees Actual HFOV: 106.26 degrees Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - All Sensitivity 1: sensitivity "2.604354" Multiplier 1: zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse "0.818930" 360° distance: 39.8982 cm Discrepancy: 0% (0 cm) Config FOV: fov_cs_debug 90 Actual VFOV: 73.74 degrees Actual HFOV: 106.26 degrees Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) - All w/ Holo & 3.25x Sensitivity 1: setcl 283349319 "8.68118" Sensitivity 2: setcl 1959281112 "0.00" Multiplier 1: setcl 1116474394 "0.99999" setcl 1878342628 "0.99999" 360° distance: 39.8982 cm Discrepancy: 0% (0 cm) Config FOV: Field of View 106.26 Actual VFOV: 73.74 degrees Actual HFOV: 106.26 degrees this gives you the same hipfire rotation for ideal movement with uniform aim

i have not personally tested this game but the values the calc gives you should be alright the 83 came from a mistake i made during calc / resolution the new pic/ values should have been replaced by now it should be 100 fov since it is hdeg res/16;9 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) - All w/ Holo & 3.25x Sensitivity 1: setcl 283349319 "4.21833" Sensitivity 2: setcl 1959281112 "0.00" Multiplier 1: setcl 1116474394 "1.00000" setcl 1878342628 "1.00000" 360° distance: 54.7395 cm Discrepancy: 0% (0 cm) Config FOV: Field of View 100 Actual VFOV: 67.67 degrees Actual HFOV: 100 degrees id generally recommend going with 360 for hipfire and 100%/ 0% for ads cod settings can be used with both options id recommend using the one that works best with both games

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds)
fortunate reee replied to DPI Wizard's topic in Supported Games
that is a case of preference ,if you want to maintain a 360 distance for hipfire/ movement id recommend just matching the fov 73.74 vert from csgo to pubg and using the same 360 distance for both then using if you prefer 100% for everything there should not be an issue with your planned conversion the methods that worked the best for me so far would be hip ads scope 1 360+100+100 2 360+ 0 + 0 3 or 100% from windows to everything 100% personally mostly swap around 1/2 from time to time 2 is the most precise whilst 1 is the best for movement -
My mouse feels too fast on 400 DPI
fortunate reee replied to kubatbg11's topic in Technical Discussion
could be weight difference if the mice aren't identical although this seems to be unlikely if its the same model , a resolution change could impact perceived speed too might be placebo or in game settings playing you -
Convert to Rainbow Six Siege
fortunate reee replied to C_ROCKTHEKILLER_'s topic in Technical Discussion
try these (for the best possible match you want to edit rainbow six ini file ) you should use the ini for: fov , mouse sensitivity multiplier unit , and changing all 3 values impacting hipfire to the same value given to you by the calc you can then use the value that matches your current scope in the in game settings ie 74 46 etc if this still feels wrong id recommend verifying that there is no acceleration turned on in halo / windows (pointer precision and that you are on 6/11 pointer speed if you dont have raw input on in both games -
i read your post and noticed that you misused some of the necessary terminologies used on this site, so i just dropped the link so you can read up it if you ever feel like it the lack of that option was the exact reason for mentioning 0% since it s the most uniform method we have got as of yet what dpi wizzard just told you was that the option exists in theory you just have to do that for each scope separately (1x then 2x then 3x), and there will be a scaling option (all with , scaled option coming)

this makes little sense 0% is 1.0 in apex and that would be faster than 0.9 ads in apex id recommend you take a look at these instructions https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/6396-instructions/
