  1. there is no reason why you would want to change "monitor distance horizontal " (that is a term used to describe one method of calculating values for your scopes , not something one changes) READ THIS ^^^^^^^^^ this should teach you, how this tool works apex uses 0% monitor distance as its default ads scaling method ( 1.0 ads = 0% in calculator ) if you want to match another ads multiplier you would have to enable per scope ads values in game / settings file and use your respective multiplier in the calculator
  2. unless you run around with your ads 100% of the time id still go for hipfire match at 0% same fov (i go from desktop to hipfire/ads tho so each their own)
  3. read the instructions pls , you can find the way to do that there (id still recommend 0% for the scopes)
  4. i stick to 73.74 vdeg (csgo default ) since it can be used in most games i play then matching hipfire at 0% or 360 distance doesn't make a difference the two viable methods to find a hipfire value are psa method and using windows desktop sense to game hipfire conversion + 0%ads and scope (fun fact just use the auto fov option so you don't have to worry about fov once you set it up )
  5. have you tried matching the hip fire isntead of your scope , that should help with the drastically different hipfire fov (perceived speed ) matching one scope to hipfire aint the play (just set the sense to 1.29 in both and match csgo default hipfire value) ez life
  6. hey @DPI Wizard i was just wondering if it would be viable to have manual choices for the ads options in order to make those preferred scopes more accurate (considering that i am not touching the sniper scopes with a stick disabling them for my calculations could lower the discrepancy between acog and holo values even more since there are less values to pack into the modifier ) ( its not like as if the discrepancy is huge although it could be improved on in my case )
  7. in game 90 actual 90 csgo the calc makes sense
  8. you can change your fov DefaultFOV=73.739998 your hipfire : MouseSensitivity=1 MouseYawSensitivity=1 MousePitchSensitivity=1 the multipliers : MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit=0.277779 XFactorAiming=0.029065 and ads : AimDownSights=50 AimDownSightsMouse=50 in here %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\[USERID]\ the hor and vertical should be the same values if you set the ads option to work through in game whilst having your multipliers seup the right way you can change depending on your need i mainly play 1x scopes and whenever i feel like using acog i just swap o the right value ( made notes on a piece of paper that sits on my table ) if you havent yet https://r6fix.ubi.com/test-server/TTS-20721-Scope_sensitivity_needs_to_be_adjusted_per_scope__requires_separate_sliders_for_1x__ACOG__and_Kali_s_two_scope_magnifications_ upvote / reproduce this and share it wioth anyone you know that has a uplay acc
  9. destiny has no support for anything but the in game settings and they cant even get their fov to work properly at this point id not expect the devs to get anything done
  10. didnt load
  11. it is working as intended it uses the exact same scaling as csgo the scopes scale and are not the same 360 distance (just like the awp and other scopes ) you still have to get used to the feel
  12. siege uses vdeg whilst csgo sits at locked 90 hdeg 4;3 if you want to be accurate id recommend going with 73.74 fov in r6 since that fov actually works then setting your aspect ratio (resolution to 16;10 1728x1080 /1920x1080 is 16;9) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ if you want to improve across games id recommend : not copying pro players and instead using the psa method (<--link) to find settings that help you with precision would be another great idea https://jscalc.io/embed/vqOrqXRpMgmwb8tV#! this is what i got after doing it my hipfire is perfect on 1.95 at 73.74 fov (so i match the fov from csgo and settings to apex siege etc ) pros dont get good because of their settings they get good because they train for hours its better to find
  13. if you do stretched in r6 you can put in the stretched res / aspec ratio as your resolution in this calculator instead of using 1920x 1080 (which is 16;9 ) you'd just put 16;10 (or a res that fits )in the respective field siege lets you believe that what you are using is still 1920x1080 through its settings , that isnt the case [in the long run you are better off not copying settings, pro settings dont make pros good its hours and time that makes them masters ] {i tend to recommend following the psa method ,then using the result here and transfer that hipfire value to all games + scaled ads method out of the 20 more or less viable options you will find here, but well in the end it is really up to you }
  14. since it doesn't impact the calculations there is no need for an option like that ( you enable it if you want to use a specific value for one and another value for another scope ,or prefer to use other scaling types)
  15. they got this exact feed back years ago ,id be more than amused if they'd now actually care
  16. if you have enabled uniform soldier aiming they don't have to be 100% especially if you do not use the games native formula ->if however you do use that games native scaling there is nothing wrong about all scopes showing 1.0 or 100% scaling i only recommend matching the hipfire fov since it makes hipfire tracking/ hitting your shots near useless when not done (whilst using 360 as hipfire, which i do )
  17. just set your fov to 86 vdeg and change your res to 5;3 9this works if you are on stretched)
  18. set your fov in siege to 73.74 in the config file , you ca play stretched r6 too if you were doing that in csgo
  19. if you want to be able to swap between them you should definitely match fov for hipfire , as dpi wizard mentioned the calc does that for you set it to 100%( default destiny2)
  20. if you want the best result you can use stretched res/ blackbars too (this huge fov fad is magnificent to watch, all these players lowering target size to a minimum )
  21. i forgot about the new scale function if you prefer using something like 1.1 or 1.2 etc in apex you can change the scale next to the 0% monitor distance 110 scale would be 1.1 in game 120 scale would be 1.2 in game etcetc that might work for you
  22. this shows why 0%(right at the crosshair ) is theoretically better than higher numbers (further towards the outside of the screen) comes from the guide below each hor distance value has its own vertical match just 0% is an identical number tho so vertical just comes from i like to recommend 100%hor since it is pretty much at the hor 16;9 screen border and it worked relatively well throughout my personal testing (also a nice way to get into 0%) although even the long term defenders of other methods always end up going back to 0% at some point there have been plenty of threads filled with math and calculations/ visual approximations speaking of "this method is the ideal " "no this one is the ideal" ( 100%/ 56.25%/75% ) ( zoom ratio / focal length 0%) (uniform soldier aim with 133.33%/ 177.78% vertical ) ^ 75%hor / ^ 56.25%hor ^you can look those up most of these methods in the forums if you are interested if is works for you, use it for scopes the only thing that i will defend until someone slaps the living hell out of me is using a medium to slow 360 distance (min 30 cm) for hipfire and matching that across games
  23. ok this is a problem many of us had / have from time to time give these a try 75% and 100% are considerably faster with high zoom i liked 100% in apex might be worth a try * just noticed that i use my default fov not yours !use method not ads values!
  24. i cant tell you if this is what the games that you played before used if you dont mention the games you have played / are used to many of us have spent hrs/ days testing this out and distance is the way to go its just a matter of what value fits you
  25. ill rephrase that again , 0% is considered to be the best settings the perceived speed is something one has to get used to. id recommend giving this a good read IF THERE IS A SPECIFIC GAME WHICH SCOPES FEEL NICE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE EMULATED ,that can be figured out , just using viewspeed wont get you to be uniform in the long run csgo has 75% hor battlefield either has 75or 100% (u.s.a) ^cod varies from 100% to 0% depending on the version and apex (and other cod )use 0% as default the calculator allows you to use these methods between games
