  1. name one pro player that actually cares enough to do proper research and name one pro payer that isn't contractually obligated to use overpriced brand shit pro settings arent great for you and pro gear fits the exact same statement
  2. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3b52326b5f9dbcde8dc7c391106a258d
  3. id be careful about that whole 120 hz tv stuff odds are you are playing on 60hz with black frame insertion/ shenanigans that is being marketed as 120 , unless you did proper research in that case just ignore this as the guy above mentioned it is helpful to match hor and vertical fov this can simply be done with (in your case 73.02111 would work on vdeg )
  4. ^read this you want to match the hip/ all option for both games not the scopes , then use a ads scaling method you like (csgo has 75%hor or 133%vert, apex has 0% vertical monitor distance as default/ siege doesn't scale ) you are better off sticking to a scaling method here are some viable methods if you want in the end the calculation should look something like this just with values that fit you
  5. id recommend 0,00 ( the 4th picture i sent in my last post) 0% for your conversion might require some getting used to but its worth it in the long run
  6. if you understand 1;1 as in 360 distance then set it to this (spoiler warning this isnt going to work) if you are using uniform soldier aiming either at 133.33 or 177.78 (might work ) or the best uniform soldier aiming option (should work ) make sure to match the hippfire fov
  7. in a sense this is the same kind of thing as professional csgo players sticking to black bars 4;3 instead of 16;9 once you reach a certain point of preference/ having mastered a certain fov it is certainly logical to stick to that
  8. you can pretty much change that to whatever you want i use 73.74 since that is exactly what actual 90in csgo (106 on 16;9) is (90 in siege is 120 horizontal ) if you i would highly recommend lowering your fov if you are at 120 (it makes targets smaller since is has to push more peripheral view )
  9. you also matched your siege ads to hipfire in cod
  10. fov placeholder change this to what you got in game match your fov across(crucial) the games and make sure you set this to the correct setting if you ever start wondering why you aren't where you would like to be aim wise look up psa method on youtube if you plan on sticking to 360 distance scope
  11. ideally you'd use 360 hipfire and just match at 0%vert for scopes and ads (better off ignore the different scope fov ) if you got uniform soldier aim at 178 this would be your go to i wholeheartedly prefer 0%
  12. the simple reason i told you to look up was so , that you could figure out how to get your wanted distance at your current dpi (no matter which that is ) corsair is known for their horrible mice ( they pay a ton of money to influencers / advertisement so the issues with high dpi variability is about what one would expect from their previous quality control issues
  13. are you on siege 90(120) or csgo 90(actual 90) ?
  14. what he ment ,was that just because many use it does not mean its correct for you the first thing to do here is always reading the instructions since those will quickly teach you how to use the calculator to gain what you want to achieve for example setting it to distance instead of sensitivity to get the same 360 as shroud even at your dpi and resolution (which no one in their right mind here will recommend you go a head and do, but sometimes it takes a few fails to understand that understanding is better than copying )
  15. keep the fov settings in kovaak but change the sensitivity scale to "apex quake source" that should do the trick i could have done the calculations differently but i forgot that part ( shouldnt make a difference once you set it to the correct scaling in kovaak) if you need more help or have other questions feel free to ask (not much to do atm thx to my internet )
  16. out of experience id recommend using this setup for the calculator this would apply to look something like this and would allow for uniform hipfire / ads ( less log time training) only down sight to this given method would be, that siege does not currently support scope scaling (so you either swap your ads setting in game depending on the scope that you are about to use or mess up your brain every time you use the wrong scope ,and end up sticking to 1x since those are uniform with ads and all weapons ) fun fact this given method is used as default ads scaling in apex legends ( and there has been some petitioning <----(check this out )going on for a while now to get this or at least more options into siege )
  17. the reason the speed(and size) is so different on stretched is that it takes a fov x and y from 4;3 and stretches it to fit 16;9 (so you get less peripheral vision than on 16;9 and instead just simply stretch what you would have on 4;3 to be bigger ) (pretty much the reason that you get "bigger enemies" and more horizontal movement speed ) i play all of my games on 16:9 res these days (there is plenty of resources here in the forums to read up on btw) obligatory you don't need to play stretched highest fov to be competitive these days , in general sticking to one resolution ,preferably native to your monitor and actually having uniform settings across all games will grant you far better results in the long run .
  18. you can pretty much ignore the hdeg vdeg all that matters is having the same numbers for x and y axis the ideal case is always having both axis be the same fov since you are going to have a difficult time finding an fps that purely has one axis after long testing i have come to the conclusion that a fov of about 70 vdeg works well on 16;9aspect (the right match between big enemies and peripheral vision for me) i am staying away from stretched resolutions since they are hardly reproduce able most of the time (if games don't support them natively ) and they often aren't worth it /drastically over hyped due to pro players using them if you want to have a "similar " feel 0% is always the go to
  19. xfactor of 1.0 with 100ads(1x caps at 83.3333 and ignores the higher number only affects acog) is the same 360 for all scopes in siege (and clearly shows why that isnt the play ) ,there also is a reason why many pros have moved their ads down lower in the lower 70/50 / 35 area (precision > flick)
  20. no point in creating 20 threads
  21. that "muscle memory" will be no use if some games dont match the necessary fov you should either try the psa method or go from windows to game (and use the exact same fov across all games (hipfire) that you play sticking to your current setup because " you already trained that " is hardly worth the time if it caps you in the long run this is my current setup which works relatively well in most scenarios ( it is uniform across most all games i touch and windows desktop ) when using the psa method (or other artificial 360 methods ) you'd go for a setup like this this might vary from user to user but in my personal experience / opinion matching the hipfire fov is crucial independent of method used since there is not other way of maintaining a sense of spacial awareness in 3d space across games (180 flick is a great example ) i the end this boils down to personal preference but both methods work better than sticking to your current setup
  22. you should use the lowest possible fov (lower fov = bigger hitbox) that does not feel bad to you / is match able across most or all games you play (you can get used to " narrow " fov unless its causing motion sickness which it shouldn't at csgo 90 then settle for a 360 distance for hipfire (psa method 360 / or 0% desktop-> game ) only have to match hipfire fov then use 0% (fov doesn't matter for scopes when using 0% once you got used to it)
  23. 160 itself makes little sense if 0% is preferable and at 0% vertical / hor doesnt matter mdv 0% is the go to
  24. try 0% vertical or 100% vertical both of these are "decent" 0% 100% vert
