apex legends uses 0% monitor distance (matching at cross hair for ideal tracking ) (it isn't actually broken when set to default scaling , most users aren't used to it scopes getting slower with high zoom this can feel off ) the per scope scalars have some flaws to them with different zooms to them so it is far better to stick to a 0% type matching cod defaults to 1.3333 /133%vertical monitor distance these days , but gives you the option to use 0% too https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=2891e98e802fe1fccdb6b3080c29e75e ^this would be 0% match at 0.7 ads https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=9dee7b690fe749001b4d1cf0a11e81ed this would be 133.333% vertical^ at 0.7 0.7= 70% /1.0 = 100% etc the 133.33333% vertical can be replaced by any method of scope scaling you prefer 0% hor / vert / 100% hor / 177.78 %vert and plenty more multiple of those are mentioned i the instructions

apex has its in game fov numbers off , you can use the calculator for matching the actual fov when using the setting file option ( shouldn't be an actual issue when using focal length/0% tho ) fov is just a simple term there is different implementations depending on the games fov type and the used aspect ratio 73.74vdeg would be 90 horizontal on 4;3 aspect ratio and 73.74 vdeg would also be 106.26horizontal on 16;9 90 in game ends up being instead of you might be able to spot the issue all this is pretty well explained in the and this thread below highly recommend reading this as far as fixing ^this goes im not sure what exactly the issue you are facing in this case might be but id assume that it might just be you not being used to using focal length scaling (1.0 ads in apex ) for your scopes ( have you used 0% matching before ? )

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=ed7f862ba52e3fd8586ab0513c7222e6 i corrected that earlier you might still be using the other one if you want to raise your fov id highly suggest doing it on all or none
-
mostly a rounding thing for other games ( this way it often shows 1.0 instead of 0.99999999 in some cases just looks cleaner) 1.333333333 has a repeating decimal =1.3 these 2 posts are definitely worth a read btw especially when you re trying to understand the functions of the calculator and how to use it
-
mistake on my side i use 0% matching by default if you want 133.333 ie 1.33333 modifer this would be it https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=ed7f862ba52e3fd8586ab0513c7222e6 ^this is the closest you can get to having the same feel across both games when still using 1.3333 this includes matching the fov to the same number
-
matching different FOv values is ok in apex but as a thing to get used to in general one should stick to one fov across all games because other games don't do so well with cross fov matching which can read to you having to relearn stuff down the road especially when not using 0% also the difference in speed can be based on the scope fov differences across those games
-
if you want a similar feel use a setup like this https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=9befcce83d52c5e61af00edf29a96094 using 2 different fov for 2 games can work( especially when the fov = not affected) but you will have much more consistent results if you match it across all games

this could be viable when set up correctly be viable https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wuQln99lQVBU9L8_QbpifrarpJ1xjPuKsKD2FY026Hc/edit#heading=h.lfs62ifyg4km this can work for games that limit the input with their crappy settings but i wouldnt rely on it too much since it might not perfectly work
-
if they would just add a per scope/ zoom option or just let us access the file

hey @DPI Wizard i have recently had great success with the whole focal length custom res calculations and at that point i started hypothesizing about a potential implementation of this calculation https://www.geogebra.org/classic/wg83gxjc if you could select ^ focal length as an aspect ratio that would be interesting ( keeping the native fov modifier ) and just locking the resolution to the respective custom res could simplify the application of this process ,it is very niche so it not being viable option would make sense interested in hearing your thoughts on it keep up the great work

https://r6fix.ubi.com/test-server/TTS-20721-Scope_sensitivity_needs_to_be_adjusted_per_scope__requires_separate_sliders_for_1x__ACOG__and_Kali_s_two_scope_magnifications_ the calculator gives you all the numbers and you have to manually swap (until ubi adds more options ) the good news would be that you dont need to use acog when you stick to the right fov with ads/ 1x scopes since your aim will be alright that is pretty much 1.33333 multiplier// csgo default // cod warzone default if you want the best possible result across csgo bf and siege make sure to match your fov

Simulating Synapse 2 acceleration.
fortunate reee replied to Hello, I'm James's topic in Technical Discussion
https://discord.com/invite/Z8hGxnM id recommend going here foir the accel stuff -
what specifically are you looking for , using 360 distance wont help you with anything in the long run there is multiple valid options for scopes spanning from 133%/ 178%/100% vertical to 100% horizontal or even 0% hor / vertical ( the only time there is no actual difference between hor and vertical unless you play stretched res ) all of those are valid options and some will serve you better than others ( 0% will pretty much give you the same feel across all scopes in the long run ,allowing you to aim well with all kinds of scopes ) the only thing 360 distance does for you is retain the 360 distance even when using scopes (which results in having varying speeds with varying scopes making using higher zoom scopes near useless , at best just simply not viable ) ^ for hip fire at the same fov + 360 distance is nice since it allows you to retain your movement spacial awareness 177.777 or 178% was a scaling used in uniform soldier aiming in the battlefield series men't to be the new 133% for 16;9 screens many players just disliked the thing and they reverted to 133% as default whilst giving you the option to use whatever scale you prefer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (since 133% was initially intended for 4;3screens) ^ 16:9 = 1.777777778 // 177.78 % vert 4;3 = 1.33333333 ///133.333 % vert 9;16= 0.5625// 56,25% hor 3;4= 0.75 /// 75%hor ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it all kind of makes sense once you got the hang of it best thing it to try them all and see which one works for you then stick to that one across all games you play
-
this should give you a nice head start on the functions of the calculator id recommend you just raise your fov in aim.pro to 120 to simplify things in the long run this would be the default go to setup

fortunate reee replied to nightxmare911's topic in Technical Discussion
the goal with all of these is to reach a level of uniform aim across most of the weapons / scopes so using multiple different values some what counteracts that if you would prefer to set a lower value than 1.0 you can use the scaling feature to something lower ^ 70% would be 0,70 ads if i am not wrong in the end of the day it is up to your own preference ( id keep a scaled number over 5 different numbers tho ) -

the numbers are the relevant part the alignment isn't that important in your case this only really applies the ads/ scope numbers -
Destiny 2 Settings to Aimbeast
fortunate reee replied to TheRealSpoke_'s topic in Technical Discussion
no one seemed to bother with changing the scaling which just so happens to make the thing fit the described " slow ads" that might not fix the fov issue but will at least get the thing closer to his actual settings -

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3bfef5a66d50b7c7d6a5fd1e0bb84d9d closer to this ( still have to match the ads fov properly ) -

0% is pretty much idea for tracking that can wok but it doesn't really have to work and it can feel weird for some ( and certainly takes some time and effort to get used to ) the other options mentioned by dpi wizard would look like this when set up in the calculator . all of them have benefits and down sights to them these could all be worth trying out since you mentioned that you were on 103 fov id highly recommend sticking to that across all games , and making sure it looks like this to keep at least your hipfire uniform during testing this would be the applied version of 133% https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=839954cc56a8e4b1327a58b04a1884dd -

when you say not accurate do you mean to slow too fast ? or just feeling off ( because that could be cause by some of the settings ) ^ that is kind of the reason why i asked if you had the thing set to affected in game ( under your fov option) since that is pretty important and can cause the game to feel off the hipfire / ads thing can impact the perceived feel too i like setting mine to gradual instead of instant have you tried another game like apex or overwatch with that setup ( to see if it works in general ?) let me know , ill gladly help you troubleshoot ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- on another note you could try this instead of going from kovaaks to the game you want to play you would set up a dpi value + slower pointer speed for your desktop and then just replace the bottom game i the calc depending on what you wish to play in that moment https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=2be5affba18fc1ef2e72d4735c1480a3 with a setup like this all you'd have to do in order to slightly tweak your settings is to change your dpi instead of going through all of the settings this is similar to the setup i am using myself could be worth a try if our troubleshooting doesn't work out -
id match 360 distance for hipfire + either of the ads options (since you matched the fov to match exactly that works better ) https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=cd77fb16a465f3e14cbe7cc0ef29da4d hdeg and vdeg doesn't matter that much , what is important is to match the actual fov as long as those two numbers are identical across the games you play did you play matchmaking or on custom servers with sv cheats enabled? last time i checked the only way to change your fov in csgo was to only play on custom servers and use cheat to change the fov this would match csgo 4;3 stretched 90 to siege 4;3 stretched " 90" https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=638b5ad90d84e6d9e4ffb032dfebbc1e

360 distance = 360 distance ( one out of multiple factors ) sense = the result of all the factors that actually impact sensitivity ( not just distance) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 100ads in game + 1.0 xfactor basically just disables the other modifiers making all scopes have the same 360 rotation (ironic that the devs managed to include this but not actual scaling) anything above 83.333 doesn't affect 1x scopes but acog /glaz / khali ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- when matching 360 distance on small zoom level scopes that is more forgiving than on others however using a scaled option that actually varies the 360 distance based on your fov or optic can give you a similar experience of uniformity whilst retaining both close quarter as well as long range fighting capabilities without requiring you to 1mm twitch your mouse at 5x + zoom in order to hit a target the reason why 83 // matching the 360 distance for ads is so popular in siege can pretty much be boiled down to the initial mistake made by ubi in not making a better "simple" option available and since pros always look for the simplest choice that "works " and lets be real here saying "just use 83 ads it makes your hipfire exactly the same as your ads " is so much easier than actually doing your research on the topic and telling your 5m twitch followers " well i modify my multiplier insert a bunch of numbers ( that vary depending on fov dpi etcetc) because that perfectly scale to 0% monitor distance at 70.5328 fov " if they did the research we would already have dedicated sliders/ values there has already been a recent shift away from 83 in some cases most pros just copy almost the exact settings another pro does well on thus we have a bunch of 120 fov ( 90siege 120 horizontal ) 400dpi 12hipfire 83 ads players ngl it has been amazing watching all of those professional athletes aimtrain for 6hrs a day whilst achieving nothing there is a reason why those with great hand eye coordination tend to excel at siege in comparison to your average pro they all use extremely high fov with basically random numbers the options below slow>>>>----------------------------------------------------------------------------------->>>>Fast id try either 0%^ /133%^ / 177.78%^ vertical md or 100%^ 83 ads ^ horizontal monitor distance a try ^ just here to show this in direct relation to the others , should not really be considered an option if you want to achieve consistency

the conversion link i sent beforehand would be pretty much what i would use in your case you'd just end up replacing the bottom game and insert all the other games you play whilst matching your respective fov to 103 ( done through auto fov ) the setup i sent has 0% monitor distance for ads and scopes
