  3. you cans et your fov in here lets say you are using in apex that would be equal to those numbers you can then use as your auto fov which will the try to match your fov to any game that has the option to use said fov for game with greyed out fov numbers ( ie locked fov) i use ^by changing your resolution based on focal length ( using black bars ) you can have the same speed + 360 distance on hipfire even if the fov differs you can just replace your fov + sens values and then save the template <-------- there setting it up as described should work pretty much as intended for most games this should do if the game supports the same fov as apex

  5. ^anything not explained here can be figured out with a quick yt /google search if you change it via cheat engine and then proceed not changing anything else in the in game settings that works fine the only ones mentioning the reverse would be the ones still trying to change the settings file ( which doesn't count decimals )

  10. that psa thing can be easily swayed in one direction or the other if you test it after already having played on a day / the day before my personal rule of thumb is to go as low as i can you have to balance movement and precision depending on the games you play if you play csgo or valorant going as low as 70or even 90cm(<--this would be able to work with povohats interception driver) or even lower might not be very harmful if you play overwatch or fortnite or other games in that category 20-40 cm would be more reasonable in the end of the day you can use whatever you feel comfortable with just try to use something similar with a similar fov in most games you play that should help ^start with the game that has the least user friendly sens options that you still play mine would be destiny 2

  12. been where you are now, a couple of years ago was a full on 360 head . i wouldn't go back and neither would anyone else that has actually tried a properly matched setup i can see why you are defending 360dist tho its "simple" and doesn't take a calculator to get a baseline rolling ^that doesn't mean you should go around telling others especially new pc players to use that option as a kind of wonder solution to all their problems since simple isn't always smart
  13. im using 360 dist where 360 distance is usefull (in hipfire conversions at the same fov /when i have properly matched focal legth ) ^aka when there is no downsight to using it in any other scenario (i.e for ads/scopes) there are objectively better options out there

  15. did you just recommend using 360 dist for ads for " muscle memory" ? might have miss read that part. the common denominator in aim training as well as aim training routines can be summarized with " learning basic /advanced mouse control" over learning a specific sens that doesn't mean that fov becomes completely irrelevant especially when intending to have decent hip fire accuracy whilst using 360 distance matching your fov can be pretty crucial , due to perceived view speed changes . there certainly is very little reason not to combine decent aim training with a properly scaled sens fov combination our brain does not split distance and velocity in terms of motor control ^sticking to such a belief only ends up limiting you in the long term highly suggest this one for anyone here that hasn't had the pleasure of reading it https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/4704-conversion-method-guide-and-other-faqs/ ^this one has a decent grasp on the whole perception /sens part as well and might help when it comes to understanding

  18. think you mean 360 distance instead of sens, even then that does not make alot of sens pretty much counterproductive but whatever floats your boat
  19. i use relative at 0% ------------------------------- i make sure to use gradual ads transition tho + fov affected ^those 2 factors can be pretty impactful if you ask me
  20. when you do windows-. hipfire -> ads that messes with ads numbers i dislike that i prefer win to hip then hip + ads( 0%) separately although i personally do better when using psa hipfire instead of a calculated option and i just pair it with 0% ads
  21. cheat engine is the most common memory editor ,the bl3 forum thread has a simple explanation on what to do ( be cautious whilst downloading the tool tho )
  22. with 0% you'll always carry over a base line of aim no matter where you go , i wouldn't necessarily focus on one or the other in your case id mix aim trainers ( rough edges / stuff that doesn't work so well for you ) + in game for practical application the primary reason for me , not to train a specific ads would be the potential "shoot in " ( over training one and ignoring the other ) ^mostly me being paranoid btw
  23. personally prefer to train the basics instead of putting focus into specific scopes since learning hip will translate well to most scopes once you are used to the whole 0% feel ^considering that no two games will have the exact same scope fov i prefer the learning by doing approach 0% as a concept is a very niche thing so having it implemented in an aim trainer at all is already pretty impressive (even when done somewhat over complicated )
  24. id consider changing location to : in game and the aim to: all turn this on and set it to 120 fov, fov type to hdeg 16;9 and converting to most games shouldn't be an issue( should simplify it all)
  25. it 1.7777777......7 ideally you should round up in that specific case so 178% this is where U.S.A originated from ^ post a and b explain this too well for me to slaughter it here, one of my fav forum posts ever while usa might be related to aspect ratio many players preferred 133% over 178% when it was first introduced and realistically the goal of the mechanic is to make you feel comfortable trying out 100/133/178 mdv and obviously 0% shouldn't harm you just stick with whatever floats your boat
