  1. use auto fov , hipfire should be the same with 0% scopes of the same fov will have the same distance scopes that different will have "the same feel you can also change your location to the config file in order to match your fov more accurately besides that you should be fine.
  2. (i almost exclusively go from desktop to in game) but yes you generally want to add every bit of info you have for the best result
  3. matching your scopes 360distance wont work when converting scopes to other games ( because no 1x scope will have the same fov in game a and game b thus your actual sens will feel different even if you have the same 360 ) , if you want uniformity the 1st thing id suggest would be to stick to native res in both games ( or stretched in all but that isnt always achievable or actually worth it ) that should make matching hipfire much easier ( both x and y axis feel should be the same if you have the same aspect ratio / resolution at the same fov ) . what dpi wizard did in the link is , matching the scaling to match your r6 sens if you are willing to adapt changing your r6 settings to match a scale would likely result in a more uniform experience. id likely go with something like that https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=dc2ae512840a77ce956a3154b36e7ed4 the scopes wont have the same distance but once you get used to it there is a sense of uniformity ( independent of your scopes fov ).
  4. much more importantly why would you use 400 and then speed it up using windows (rhetorical question there is no good answer to this ) when yo could use either 800 at 6/11 or 1600 at 4/11 and have the same feeling https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/4704-conversion-method-guide-and-other-faqs/ <- source -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to answer your question this would be how you'd match desktop to league after having changed your wps https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=02919c117274606c65631d5973941f96
  5. pretty much , the only potential issue would be a games fov not going up high enough thus my recommendation besides that it is pretty awesome
  6. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3066e660feca4d05470e20d95157ca43 both siege and apex use 0% / focal length as default which is actually the closest thing to 1:1 you can get
  7. apex max fov is above most other games max fov so if you want to have an easier time matching id suggest going with instead its a bit less but both battlefield and cod should be able to match that 1:1 --- don't worry too much about discrepancies the human body/mind is far more flexible than a few decimals of discrepancy
  8. the rounding is mostly related to your dpi steps different programs round dpi differently some allow single digit (1dpi steps ) other do 50 or even 100 dpi steps (none of this will make or break the settings) generally mdh 100% and 0% mdv or mdh can work well this is mostly preference and up to you
  9. apex should go up to 88 ye works with the config file you can keep and it should work you can set them here ---- 106 would be 4:3 hdeg if i am not mistaken similar but not perfect i prefer using the config for that reason
  10. that whole muscle memory thing is a whole different rabbit hole to get into but essentially. yes i would consider that recommendable that is what many of us use https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=ceb3d1a9b5dff8fa5581efb6a505a942 this would be what i am currently using battlefield lets you set your uniform soldier coefficient to "Coefficient 0%" which is pretty much 0% in the calculator same thing for cod this topic can be a huge rabbit hole to get into the math completely understand others asking questions kind of difficult to find out about all of this with very little good information out there very few of those with a huge audience care enough to do proper research. this creates a lot of misconceptions and misinformation. the thing i generally suggest would be using auto fov to let the calculator match fov from game a to game b in your case we would set it to 88 ( since you got 88 fov) on Vdeg since that is what r6 siege uses by default the calculator takes that and converts it to whatever fov type the other game uses and inserts it for you giving you the option to have the same 360 distance+ feel in hipfire -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- there is there is the option to match windows desktop to game https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=d76fedfe3e2be0f6e7d66b7ac7dabd6c once again you can insert whatever value you like / prefer some like 0%mdh/ mdv other use mdh 100% or even mdh 200% no need to do so you can also find a value you like in game then convert that value to other games works fine ----------------------------------------------------------- in which case you can adjust this to whatever value you like and you can also change both dpi and windows pointer speed ( usually defaults at 6/11) (4/11 is 0.5 x dpi ) (3/11 is 0.25 x dpi ) in my case 1600x 0,25 is similar to 400 dpi in feel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hope i didn't confuse
  11. pretty much i think there was a guy somewhere around here that spoke french. found it below he did a tutorial in 2019 and one more recently i don't fully understand french so i need to rely on visual ques as well as some words that sound similar enough to recommend if you prefer french. but jist of it is that scopes across different games are hardly ever the same fov even 1x scopes wont ever be identical fov wise so matching them based on a distance will always feel "weird " the more the zoom diverts from what you originally learned . the thought behind 0% is to have a uniform method for all scopes that might not be the same distance but has the same "feel" to it once you got used to the method since it matches the distance changes but the "pixel ration" is the same which will feel intuitive once you are used to it cutting warm up time and other factors ---- only thing i am not fully aware off in the video would be the 0% vs 0-4% mdv thought the smaller values should be indistinguishable so there is much to critic about this aspect ---- @Layead is the author of the video above , solid work hopefully doing well in times like these
  12. useless, you are trying to recreate a flawed system the reason why ubi implemented the new system is that the old values were not good so there is little reason to match yes this is 0% and if you use this you can easily match both apex as well as call of duty https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=14510c00b119a2f252c9b57619da140f replace the bottom game
  13. there is a subscription / 1 time payment option if you don't like subs , good way to support the efforts taken
  14. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/6396-instructions/
  15. there is a way to keep the same 360 with next to identical feel it comes at the price of having black bars and having to create a custom resolution but its pretty much worth it unless you settle your primary fov too high 73.74 vdeg is my default but there i go up to 110 over the 106.26 i normally use and this works great in games that limit fov like val ow or pubg
  16. great, https://www.kovaak.com/sensitivity-matcher/ this will help you avoid further discrepancies no reason to rely on archaic measurements that are prone to discrepancies when there is a reliable alternative
  17. how do you measure, if you are using kovaks sens matcher this seems very unlikely to happen, if you are using a ruler we have found the answer
  18. tbf you hit the final mouse aspect straight on
  19. the reason why siege changed their ads system some time back https://r6fix.ubi.com/test-server/TTS-20721-Scope_sensitivity_needs_to_be_adjusted_per_scope__requires_separate_sliders_for_1x__ACOG__and_Kali_s_two_scope_magnifications_/ can be found in the instructions https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/6396-instructions/ using 360 distance for anything but hip fire is not advisable (been debated a lot back and even regularly whenever someone new joins and doesn't read/or understand all the available forum post at hand ) before you start typing some flawed argument in favor of using 360 distance for scopes don't ! i have heard them all and not a single one was factually sound proof enough to be considered reasonable. --- if you are still here and haven't started furiously typing read the stuff below its actually interesting https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/4704-conversion-method-guide-and-other-faqs/ this part of the page shows the actual fov you have in game , since games scale their fov differently if siege uses vdeg ie 90 if you are relying on crutches such as stretched res you can adjust that in the aspect ratio box and set it to whatever floats your boat. ------ <--- best method of converting all scopes at the same time in regards to the scopes and their method of calculation you will quickly notice that their respective values change depending on what you have set up in the top half this is considered to be "the best " method of converting ads/ scopes (focal length / zoom ratio/ 0% monitor distance ) many names same result ( there is no perfect method, its mostly about the least flawed method of matching) tbf any method will be more reliable and uniform than 360 could ever be give that each and every one of them actually scales based on your settings giving you a more uniform approach to scopes. i used something like this https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=c2412731cd8f0c4bbcc6f4e4fdd59c85 although i do switch it up regularly and i don't exclusively use any certain setting ( its mostly preference ) -----
  20. on the left side of the website there is a good instructions tab that goes pretty in depth about most aspects you might need tldr: apex ads is optimal at 1.0 ( might need some getting used to at first if you are used to distance based ads options) ----- https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=253c670497fd8bb9663c94c8af0ecfa2 i currently use this matching my hipfire fov to a value all the games i play can achieve if they cant i use in order to get the same feel using the same 360 distance even while on another fov ( you trade black bars for the same feel) red is generally advisable blue doesn't really affect you unless you match windows to game and even then that part is mostly preference you can fiddle around with the ads and scope values, keep an eye on the instructions and potentially this thread https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/4704-conversion-method-guide-and-other-faqs/ if you have a specific question in mind feel free to reply.
  21. 0.8 is 80%scale in the calculator can just as well do that although its somewhat counterproductive
  22. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/6396-instructions/
  23. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=79d8aab2b708b46ab6706b390e1cd41e should be looking something like this if you want a similar feel and distance --
  24. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forums/topic/6396-instructions/ 0% match or 0.000 coefficient in warzone is close to 1.0 ads in apex and would be considered " the best" although it is preference
