  1. I'll take another look at it, but unless they updated something it's still a mess. Will check it! Added!
  2. There's already a lot of technical answers here, but I'll answer a few of your questions anyway. Yes it is impossible. You can to some degree see the difference in movement at the end of the Monitor Distance video, where it shows and 80% movement when the aims are matched at 25%. The problem with acceleration is that it is not consistent. If you are using a 1080p monitor and match 100% monitor distance from Windows to a game, it is calculated what sensitivity is needed to equal 960 counts to move to the edge of the monitor in a game. If you match 50%, it will match 480 counts to 50% of he monitor distance, and so on. It basically means matching the smallest movement possible. You can see that the difference between 1% and 0% is virtually nothing, but there is a small difference.

  4. Personal preference really, but either go with 0% (so movement right around the cross hair is identical, or 75%, which is used as a standard for many games. Use 360 only if your playstyle involves a lot of 90 or 180 degree twitches etc (i.e. quick movements off the screen).
  5. Scroll down to the game info section of the calculator The path is %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\[uSERID] The [uSERID] is your unique ID, and if you browse to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\ (paste this entire string into Windows Explorer) you should probably only have one ID there.
  6. You need to edit the file to do those numbers. If you're not comfortable editing the file, select the "Simple" calculations for the in-game numbers. ACOG is not there, but the end result will be the same if you select Iron Sight.
  7. You do like this: First convert hipfire form Overwatch to Rainbow Six: Then convert Widowmaker/Ana to ACOG, using the value you got from the previous calculation: 50 is the default value for sensitivity 1 and 2 for Rainbow Six, but it can be changed to anything you have set, the multiplier will even it out.
  8. Have you seen the monitor distance video on the front page? You basically do what's explained there. Tell me if it's still confusing!
  9. Do you mean how to configure it etc? It's not really much to it other than adjusting the DPI of your mouse, and setting the Windows Pointer Speed in Control Panel. In the calculator it's under "Windows / Desktop"
  10. Make sure you are adjusting the sensitivity under "Keyboard and mouse", and NOT "Controls" (which is controller sensitivity)
  11. Different XFactorAiming values for hipfire and ACOG is correct, since the FOV is different.
  12. I see what's happening btw, the correct sensitivity without rounding would be 6.5, but somewhere it's rounded to 6.49999... which results in 6.
  13. Seems like a rounding error, the top one converting from advanced to simple show the 360 distance for 7, not 6. I'll check the code to see what's up
  14. Yes, but different weapons have different ADS FOV, so I need to add each weapon separately.
  15. FOV calculations are not done yet. For reference: 0% is 75° and 100% 97°.
  16. Updated with corrected hipfire calculation and added aim and FOV calculations. View full update
  17. Signed up for the beta, but haven't got access yet. Please do, my Uplay name is DPIWizard
  18. Check your PM, sometimes the mail is a bit delayed unfortunately.

  20. Will be added next (if possible).
