Slightly different, but shouldn't make a big impact like 90 vs 105.
103 has kinda been set as the new standard, whereas the old was 90 based on 4:3 aspect ratio (which translates to 106.26 in 16:9). Apex is technically 90 in 4:3, but due to some lazy coding the conversion from in-game FOV to actual FOV is wrong, resulting in 105.54 instead.
For 16:9 this is mostly true, but issues arise in ultrawide (21:9 etc), where games are either stretching the 103 FOV to the entire screen, extending it to add on the extra width (so the actual FOV is wider) or some arbitrary thing like PUBG does where it has its own unique FOV scaling to aspect ratio.
Either way, the calculator is intended to always account for this if you enter the correct resolution and configured FOV.
