  5. Nice emulator, works well! Added the game now
  6. Aside from a minor issue with negative acceleration, this emulator works very well!

  8. There's a diminishing return to the benefit of high DPI, over a certain point it does practically nothing more. 3200 with 0.1 in Valorant is plenty enough, the difference to 1600 with 0.2 hard to distinguish. You should stay below 1 pixel/count though (which you are), other than that the most important aspect is that the cursor speed also works for you. Very few games support separate cursor sensitivity, so if you try to play with say 16000 DPI the cursor will be insanely fast and very hard to use in the game. The only real issue is when you play with 400-800 DPI and high sensitivity.
  9. It depends on the game. Some are multipliers for the 360 distance, some are FOV based for a specific monitor distance like for instance MDV 0% or MDH 100%, while others are completely arbitrary.
  10. All zooms in the calculator are tested and verified, and are not based on the power of the scopes in the gunsmith which are indeed misleading.
  11. That depends on a lot of factors and what you want to achieve. If the FOV is the same nothing changes in terms of 360 distance or vertical sensitivity, only horizontal sensitivity changes.
  12. This game has a very limited sensitivity range.

  15. See the instructions for some videos. In short MDV 0% (which is the same as MDH 0% as long as the aspect ratio is the same) is matching the tracking speed, i.e. the rate at which you have to move your mouse to track a moving target. MDV 100% is matching the movement from the cross hair to the top edge of your monitor. This can be translated to MDH 56.25% for 16:9. With different FOV's you can only match one aspect of the sensitivity, either 360 distance (usually only suited for hipfire) or a specific monitor distance.
  16. You used a different matching method (MDV 0%), the link is referring to MDV 100% which would be like this for Hyper Scape: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=665c6cf26282e66ed0b31e3f439b4fc3 And this for R6: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=1907c5ee99d3181fe40da5304da94c47
  17. No, any FOV, the scopes scales with the configured FOV.
  18. This is correct for R6, and is referring to a conversion like this: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=f23802876b385e6aa5105100cd00acbf Hyper Scape scales scopes differently (and more logically) though: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=6642c62e0122e3984d75662c2f1a308c
  19. That looks correct indeed. If you're unsure if it works or not, try setting it to some extreme value like 1.000000 (should be insanely sensitive) or 0.0001 (should be very slow) and see if that works. If neither works, this method doesn't work for you for some reason. Is it the Steam version? I have the same issue with Call of Juarez, will check that again soon to see why it doesn't work.
  20. No, you don't touch the sensitivity in-game (that will overwrite the file) you just change the sensitivity in the xml file:
  21. And you are changing the _Mouse variables and not the _Pad ones correct? I've had some issues with similar games based on the same engine and modifying this file, but for Dead Island it worked for me. I'm not sure what might make it not work, but if it doesn't change the sensitivity you're unfortunately stuck with the less accurate in-game sensitivity. You could try the Dead Island Riptide fix, but I haven't tried this on Dead Island 1. This method is extracting the file and putting it in a folder the game reads. As I said no idea if this works on the first game though.
  22. Ok, it can be a bit hard to get this to work properly. Are you using 7-zip and making sure the file is changed? In other words if you re-open it after saving is it changed?
  23. Definitive edition or original?
