Just shy of 20% of the games currently in the calculator supports it. Ark still has it and supports changing it.
-
Indeed. It's not a much used function since the majority prefers 1:1 anyway, but I added it so the calculator can replicate anything you can (potentially) set in a game.
-
Do you mean in the conversion setup? If so you can select between a scale (all vertical a percentage of the horizontal) or a custom dedicated conversion in the Y sensitivity option: If you select Custom you will get a separate option for vertical:
-
You can actually achieve this by entering a 5:4 resolution and selecting 16:9 Black bars. The calculator will only compensate for the aspect ratio in the calculation if you have a difference in the monitor size for the games, so just use the same monitor size and this should work:
-
Yeah, in this case it's a stretched/squished 16:9 image because the game "assumes" your monitor is the selected aspect ratio.
-
The VFOV is always the same and is equal to the configured FOV value (in this game). The HFOV is derived based on the aspect ratio and will change accordingly. What happens when you do letterbox on 5:4 is that the VFOV stays the same but occupies a smaller portion of the monitor, so the HFOV is extended to compensate for this.
-
ADS is updated now, but note that Zoom Multiplier must be set to No and the calculation is only correct for Iron sights.

Arma 3 sensitivity incorrect

Strange, mine is not stable at all, take a look: It's all over the place. Maybe you have a certain setting that fixes it enabled? -
Arma 3 sensitivity incorrect
DPI Wizard replied to Awkward-Knowledge's topic in Feedback, suggestions and bugs
Nice, that's looking way more consistent than when I analyzed the game, so I'll check it again and see if they've fixed the issues! -
16:10 stretched and 16:10 black bars have the exact same HFOV and VFOV. Using the widescreen letterbox option as in the video is different as it keeps the VFOV while displaying a 16:9 image on a 4:3 aspect ratio with black bars, so the horizontal FOV gets wider.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds)
DPI Wizard replied to DPI Wizard's topic in Supported Games
Yeah, the conversion from 2D to 3D does not feel natural for everyone. It depends on your preferences. You can adjust the conversion setup to better suit your preference though. -
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds)
DPI Wizard replied to DPI Wizard's topic in Supported Games
Do you get a different output than expected? Changing the DPI does not change the output in terms of distance, the sensitivity is just adjusted to compensate for the changed DPI. -

They are just pointing to the two different sensitivity values in the config file, "Sensitivity" and "LastConvertedSensitivity". You should set both of them, so you need to calculate both using the two different config file locations. But if you just use the "All" conversion in "Config File 1" everything is done in a single calculation. -
Like this, but use your own FOV, DPI and resolution. Your should use the same FOV in both R6 and Rust. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=05cfa4ee585858492106e6ee72a19f86 The trick here is the ADS and scope setup (MDV 0% Scale 92%) which matches your R6 setup.

Sorry, missed this! Updated now. The game doesn't seem to read or write to this file, setting the sensitivity in it didn't work here. Did you get it to work?

Arma 3 sensitivity incorrect
DPI Wizard replied to Awkward-Knowledge's topic in Feedback, suggestions and bugs
If you run it several times and/or change the parameters to for instance 10 counts 600 times with 10 ms delay or 1 count 6000 times with 1 ms delay you'll notice that you never end up in the same spot. The game has issues, as mentioned in the game notes: Calculations are off by up to 5% because of issues with smoothing and acceleration even when they are turned off. -
Does monitor size change affect mouse sensitivity?
DPI Wizard replied to LJL6's topic in Technical Discussion
Nothing changes with the sensitivity itself, it is exactly the same. Same FOV, same 360 distance. But if might be perceived differently due to the size difference, the calculator can account for this if you set different monitor sizes and select Monitor Distance instead of 360 distance. -

See the game notes mate Replace the LastConvertedSensitivity value with the calculation from "Config File 2". -
It's config file sensitivity, see the game info section in the calculator.
