Based on polls and data from this site yes. -
Conversion method guide. (and other FAQ's)

If that feels more intuitive for you, definitely stick with it. There is not "best" method since we all have different preferences, 0% is just what a slight majority prefer. -
Conversion method guide. (and other FAQ's)
DPI Wizard replied to Skidushe's topic in Technical Discussion
No, the edge is defined by your FOV. If your FOV is 90, the edge 45 degrees away, so you move 45 degrees. If the FOV is 20, the edge is only 10 degrees away, and you only move 10 degrees. The 360 distance in this case is 4.5 higher for the 20 FOV than the 90. The math gets a bit more complicated when it's not edge FOV though. -
Conversion method guide. (and other FAQ's)

It doesn't really multiply it, but keep it consistent yes. So in my example using MDH 100% to match sensitivity, an object at the edge of the monitor will always require the exact same mouse movement to aim at regardless of FOV, hipfire, ADS, scope etc. -
Conversion method guide. (and other FAQ's)

It means moving your mouse so the crosshair either tracks a target or move to a specific object. I.e. if the object is at the edge of your monitor and you move your crosshair to it (so it's now in the center under your crosshair), you move 100% horizontal monitor distance. -
Then it is spot on, try with a tool like Kovaak's sensitivity matcher or Logitech scripts and you'll see that it is correct Here's a demo with sensitivity set to 0.05086969 and these settings in Kovaak's: If it doesn't match your experience it must be something like the mouse switching DPI or something.
-
Are you in fullscreen or windowed? What's your resolution? Using windowed mode might affect it I think.
-
Check these games a bit more thorough now, and currently sensitivity is both affected by framerate and have smoothing enabled, so it can not be added.
-
I've just removed the different Java version and just kept one as I can't find any difference between them anymore. The change is very small in your case though, as it should be 0.05086969 instead of 0.04915448. But that new number is exactly the same 360 distance as 0.21 in Valorant.

I think we have to wait for a mouse fix for these games, input is not very precise at the moment even with mouse dampening off in ME 2 and 3.

Great, converting from a ADS/scope is generally not recommended since you need to have a good understanding of the underlying affecting FOV and sensitivity settings. It's much easier to just use the "All" option and adjust the conversion setup to match your settings. As for your link, this is the correct way without adjusting for FOV: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=7aa81889b208299246beafae532c2b7b But this is the best way to keep hipfire FOV consistent as well: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=6ec48536e55a5d4551a7ce50eb9cdbde

Can you link your conversion (purple button)? Always do this so it's easier to see that you did

Just an un-numbered slider in the demo, so let's hope for better integration in the release!

Matching Hipfire distance with 3.0X in Warzone
DPI Wizard replied to Arpo's topic in Technical Discussion
If affects all scopes, so you might have to re-calculate and try different values to get it working with all your aims. -
Matching Hipfire distance with 3.0X in Warzone
DPI Wizard replied to Arpo's topic in Technical Discussion
That's generally not a good idea, but to each his own. Here's how: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=6630991e8b15a28e9ac7d036a92e5680 -
Matching Hipfire distance with 3.0X in Warzone
DPI Wizard replied to Arpo's topic in Technical Discussion
For converting hipfire to 3x using a proper conversion method, this would be best: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=4d6bdfadd9646285f561ddce3a0fce4b But I'm not sure if what you want is the same 360 distance for 3x as hipfire? -
All these are added.
-
That depends if you want to match the horizontal or vertical FOV if Kovaak's is not stretched.
-
This setup best matches your settings: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=33bf372b2e6c52671175cd6959ed0e2f PS, you can click the icon next to an aim to launch 3D Aim Trainer directly with these settings

Chaos Converting Overwatch Sens to Siege Sens
DPI Wizard replied to Kotori_alpha's topic in Technical Discussion
That's probably because 1x with your settings in R6 has a wider FOV than hipfire in Overwatch. The calculations are correct, but the perceived and expected sensitivity might be wrong because of the FOV difference. If you instead match hipfire FOV of R6 with Overwatch (70.5628) you will get better and more consistent results. -
Chaos Converting Overwatch Sens to Siege Sens
DPI Wizard replied to Kotori_alpha's topic in Technical Discussion
You have to set all the values in the config file exactly as they are in the output of the calculator. -
Default FOV is 81 as stated in the game notes. As for the "Mouse Sensitivity" setting, I'm not quite sure what it does actually. Changing it has no impact on the cursor or the sensitivity. Maybe it's for other aspects of the game I haven't seen yet.

This was already added. All these are in!
