  1. Yo, just popping by to add my experience - I was having a lot of problems getting my sensitivity to feel right, until I made a thread about it and found out I had not been putting in the FOV right and also I wasn't using the coefficient right either. The problem I had was, I wasn't converting my Planetside 2 FOV over to Delta Force(I didn't think it mattered) and I also was just screwing with the FOV up and down. It definitely converts it 1:1 though if you make sure you put the FOV value for the original game being converted from, and also make sure you always put the resulting FOV/FOV you want in the calculator for Delta Force. Since I started doing that and making damn sure I always do it - I've had a great time https://streamable.com/szrrsd https://streamable.com/j0vttp https://streamable.com/w3oe2p
  2. https://streamable.com/szrrsd It's literally perfect now. Thank you so much lmao. Marked as solved.
  3. Yep that pretty much solves it, thank you very much, that feels so much better in-game.
  4. AHHHHH the hipfire is perfect now! Thank you so much! I feel really dumb for overlooking that lmao. Now I just need to figure out how to transfer the ADS I have in Planetside over to Delta Force so it feels the same. It looks like Planetside and Delta Force both do different things for ADS though so that's kinda confusing me on how to best do it. This should make that a lot easier tho.
  5. ... I am a fucking dunce lol. No, no I am not. I have been adjusting that up and down through the past few weeks as I play independent of my sensitivity, not putting two and two together that it could be affecting my sensitivity, since usually in most modern FPS games that doesn't happen to my knowledge(does it?). lol. So I play Planetside 2 with a vertical FOV of 74, which apparently is 90 horizontal FOV with my aspect ratio... my horizontal FOV in Delta Force as I write this, currently sits on 110 lmfao. Raising and lowering the FOV value in the calculator for Delta Force does indeed give me different sensitivities. I will give those a try and see if that resolves the hipfire issue, and then see about the ADS. Thank you very much, I hope this fixes the entire problem. Will report back shortly after I slay some people(EDIT: in-game, not irl).
  6. Sure thing, thanks for your help For the monitor distance coefficient: I tried using a coefficient of 1.33 like the calculator said, and then 1.78 like I had in CoD when I was unfortunate enough to play that game - neither felt right and felt kinda weird, so I just left it at 0 since I read a few reddit posts talking about it, and I got tired of fucking with it tbh lol.
  7. Hey what's up, I was gonna make this as a reply in the Delta Force thread, but I figured I'd get it solved faster and it wouldn't hurt anything if I would just make a thread instead(I also am trying to rush to get a solution soon because I'm afraid I will run out of premium soon ;-;) So I have been using this site ever since I was like 15(26 now lol). I've never had any problem up until now, and I actually even went as far as buying premium to try and see if I could find something in the premium features to help out but I still can't solve it. The problem I am having is that no matter what conversion I try for Delta Force - it just does not feel 1:1 with the original game I converted from at all, and I can't tell if it's something wrong with my own setup or not. For starters, I've gone into the input ini and turned off mouse acceleration and enabled raw-input(these two things helped tremendously) and that helped, but it still doesn't feel right, mostly the problem I am having is with the ADS sights. This is a problem I always have with FPS games that have ADS, I never know what to put it to or how to make it comfortable; It took me like 2 years to figure out an ADS sens in Planetside to feel perfect, so I'd really like to transfer that over to DF if I can. All I wanna do is just convert my Planetside 2 sensitivity(400 dpi, hipfire of 0.153/0.156, ADS of 0.163) to Delta Force, and convert my CS2 sens(400 DPI, 1.268) to it as well(so I just need to find three calculations.) I've been fucking around with Delta Force in the calculator now for about 3 weeks, and I for the life of me do not understand why I can not get even my hipfire sensitivity to transfer over. Like, I'm sitting here right now with Counter-Strike: Source and Delta Force both open(CS:S' sens is 1:1 with CS:2's sens, so I am just using CS:S because it's lighter on my system while running Delta Force), and I have my sens in CS:S set to 1.268 One full swipe of my mousepad causes me to turn a little past 90 degrees, but below 180 degrees. The calculator tells me that 1.268 in CS:S is... So I try 2.79 as my sens in Delta Force Then, I start at this position and do another swipe of my mousepad(or three to be sure while also doing it in CS:S) One full rotation causes me to almost turn almost an entire 180 degrees So how can this be if 1.268 in CS:S is supposed to be 2.79 in Delta Force? Unless there is just some mouse-acceleration on that you just can not turn off no matter what, even with the ini file. I dunno. Or maybe I am using it wrong or just being dumb somehow. There's also the planetside 2 ADS sens, which after it tells me my hipfire sens in Planetside of 0.153 is 5.23 in Delta Force(feels WAY too high) and to set my ADS sights to 1.08(which... I don't understand why? This just makes it even more of a mess for me lol) If I try to convert just my PS2 ADS sens to Delta Force, I get this Which doesn't feel right either. So I dunno what to do lol. Please help me. I must become a tryhard.
