Hello I’m new here and I’m really having a hard time finding the optimal number for my monitor coefficient. I’m playing on a Samsung odyssey G9 ultra wide but I’m using the 16:9 wide in game so I have black borders on the left and on the ride of my screen. The G9 monitor has a render resolution of 5120 X 1440 and my current monitor coefficient is 3.56
I was doing a test on the in game firing range where I would move my mouse from left to right across my mousepad and I would try and keep the my hand as steady and straight as possible. I even used a guide to make sure it was pretty straight. at the end of every test it seemed like my center dot was either up or down from where It should be.
