  1. Ok, here is my problem. My friend has Razer deathadder elite, and synapse software allow him to set custom DPI on his mouse (800,801,802 e.t.c) Mine old G903 has logitech software, that does not allows to set that low of an increments of DPI, instead it allows to set every 50 (800, 850, 900 e.t.c.) Now I have cooler master MM710. It recently got software that allowed the custom DPI change (the mouse had preset DPI before that), But I can only set increments of 100 there (700, 800, 900, 1000 e.t.c) The ability to set custom DPI (like razer one) will come in handy for games like warframe, warface, and other games where there is only 1-100 slider without 0.01 values. Is it possible to change mouse DPI to a custom number (like synapse ones) somehow? Without screwing up something in system and mouse itself, of course.
  2. Exuse me, it's stopped showing how much the calculation is off when transfer to other game without config.txt... When I was transfering to destiny 2, I changed Fov and DPI to match the sens, now I can't do that. I'm using vertical monitor distance 0%
  3. ok, I just was confused yesterday with how low my ADS speed was compared to my usual :-)... that 6P20 Sb2 thingy and all other mechanical sights that installs on guns (p226 pistol, new m9a3 and others (pic below)) are considered as x1 scopes in this game. This will probably confuse a new players a lot. Hope Nikita will fix it someday (two+ years no fix tho). Again, thank you:-)
  4. Ok, now when you added 1x scopes my sens is back to 0.17 with 1700 dpi on FOV 73. I playing this game for two yars already, as far I can tell x1 scope and ADS iron sight with detachable mechanical sight are the same (Fov and sensitivity)... The different (higher) sens are tha guns wihout any mechanical sights attachments: AKS-74U; shotguns; pp-9/91; TOZ-106; APS/APB; mp-443; SR-1mp; TT. Those guns have the same ADS sens (way higher) as any other weapons without mechanical sight attachment (see pic below - without that 6P20 Sb2 thingy). So, if I understood correctly. My old sens for all weapons was 0.17 with 1700 dpi on FOV 73. Yesterday I used calculator Iron sight/ADS and this sens became 0.11: now I use x1 scope calculator and my sens back to 0.17; in both cases Actual Vfov is the same (46 degrees). So I guessing that Iron sight/ADS calculation (that way lower than my actual sens) is for weapon without mechanical sights attachments, right?
  5. ok, thank you for a great work :-)
  6. OK, ADS now is Way slower... for example, it was 0.17 for 1600 DPI and 73 FOV, now it's 0.11 for 1600 dpi and 73 fov... (monitor distance vertical = 0%) is it working as intended?
  7. ok all my calculations now totally different... and game server crushed, so I can't test new settings. Great.
  8. yep. In tarkov hipfire sens for me is 0.15... and it's depends on armor you using... but yeah, for "naked" player hipfire sens is 0.15 and ADS 0.17 (ADS not restricted by armor) Hipfire in tarkov is inaccurate by itself, so I don't need 100% precision... well yeah... I guess I'll try for a couple of days 55fov and lover sens in kovaak... it's just looks like I'm overshooting a bit when flicking, while that's don't happen in kovaak, that's why I think I need to recalculate sens for 55fov in kovaak... sorry, english is not my first language, I hope it's not a complite pain to read this
  9. ok, I'm a bit confused right now about FOV change. I'm using "monitor distance - vertical" calculation method, and I got myself a problem...: The game of my choice is Escape from Tarkov. ADS in this game have slight zoom in effect. My game FOV slider is set on 70 (vertical). Calculator tells me that ACTUAL vFOV when ADS will be 55. I wanna transfer that settings to Kovaak's aim trainer. But, When I set vertical fov in Kovaak's to 70, My actual FOV still stays 70: The Question is: 1. Will it screw with my muscule memory. 2. Should I set my FOV settings in Kovaak's to 55 to avoid this:
  10. Ok, I play A LOT of EFT, I can tell you a couple of things. 1. All weapons without Iron sight plank (donno how it called in english) has almost x2 faster ADS. For example, p226 has normal sens when it have sight plank equipped , other pistols, shotguns and weapon with sight plank removed will have high ADS speed. 2. High dpi is prefered for me, because it's provide no pixel skipping with same "screen distance" sens: 3. gear is slowing your hipfire sens down. But it's not changing your ADS sens. Let's find out what hipfire sens we need for no gear and with normal ADS speed. The easy way is to get your vertical viewspeed instead of monitor distance (but monitor distance is better in some cases). 1. let's take our comfortable ADS sens (dpi and FOV too) and translate it to CS:go or kovaak Aim trainer (for some out of game practice, for example). 2. Then, let's convert it back to EFT The sens of hipfire in EFT is lower, but it's feels compareble to ADS (the point of this site). But, you don't run naked in EFT, so when you gear up, the hipfire sens will be too low. So, the simple solution is to set hipfire sens to saame values as ADS sens (or 0.1-2 lower, it's depends). The harder way is to move your mouse from one side of the mousepad to another with and without your gear and manually find out your sens for hipfire depending on chosen gear. It's a simple way. The Hard way is to use Vertical monitor distance. I'm not gonna to explain it here, so check out this topic here https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/4704-conversion-method-guide-and-other-faqs/page/3/?tab=comments#comment-25143 . The only problem of this metod is that not all games support 0.00000000 increments in sensetivity, so for me it's impossible to change sens using Vertical monitor distance in games like warframe, GTA V and others (EFT is exeption, because I can work with 0.1699. it's basicly 0.17).
  11. FOV Scale from 1.00 to 1.30 with increments of 0.05. https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/World_War_Z
  12. Fov scaling added... have no idea how it's affects fov
  13. Ok, I'm a bit confused. I always used viewspeed-vertical for my games. My dpi was 1400. I decided to change my WPS. I translate my game sens to match my desktop sens (by wps). If I understood correctly, for perfect match, I need: 1. Set up my desktop WPS to 3/11 (for normal mouse speed on high DPI). 2. Calculate dpi for new WPS (so it will be 1550 for me). 3. Convert new desktop sens to game of my choice using monitor distance - Vertical 0% (I will use cs:go for example, so it will be 0.904289) 4. Now I can use to convert that sens to game of my choice using monitor distance - Vertical 0%. For example Escape from tarkov. Using monitor distance - Vertical 0%, aim down sight sens with FOV 73 Vdeg will be 0.181000 (so, only 0.18 ingame, close enough) So, viewspeed-vertical is not the best choice? monitor distance - Vertical 0%. is better? Basicly, it's still my old sens in EFT on viewspeed-vertical (0.20 with1400dpi)... am I doing something wrong? I have 27' 16:9 monitor (if it's matter) UPD: ow, almost forgot. There is no "Discrepancy %" for monitor distance - Vertical 0%
  14. Excuse me, what about "Watch_Dogs 2"?
  15. THX for a quick and comprehensive answer!
  16. Where is it? I'm using viewspeed v2; advanced mode.
  17. Hmm, lunched the game today, bunch of notifications about updates, christmas and stuff. Then joined the garrison (training map) with no problems... Then found a game by pressing "battle now"... maybe you picked the wrong time to lunch the game (when servers was under maintenance or something like that). Some saying that u can just reconnect after a couple of tries.
  18. Imperium needs your help, Wizard! We need your calculations to purge heresy more precise!
  19. WH40k - Eternal crusade maybe? It's not listed in unsupported games, so maybe it's possible to add? THX for all your work!
  20. Posted February 23, 2015 (page 19, can't copy quote with quotes already in it, sry) There was warhammer 40k: space marine request, and it was added to upcoming list... I fear online will go down soon, so I was hoping... Is it will be added at all? oh, and what about Warhammer 40k: Ethernal Crusade? So many requests, but none of them is replied (at least what I found, maybe I'm just not searching good enough)... It will be wounderful to know will it ever be added
  21. Thank you so much for your answers! Nah, I have Zowie ZA12, so DPI toggle is not an option... I just add 1 to my calculated sensetivity, so I have fast hipfire sensetivity and normal (calculated) ads sensetivity... works fine for me :-)
  22. I see... So, if I take for example CoD:IW, I have to set ingame FoV to 105 (only +-5 in game) to get min. difference in Actual VFOV and Actual HFOV? And when I change aim type it's still calculating Actual V/H Fov for ths scope type, using my selected Config FOV (for sige is 73,74), so it's actually important to always set Config FOV every time :) I always thought I have to guess in game FoV for ADS and input it in Config FOV for every scope type.
  23. This topic title is good enough for my question. I got trouble understanding FOV part of calculator. My CS:GO sensetivity is 2.3 DPI is 400. default CS^GO FOV is 90. default sige FOV is 60. 1) (Pic 1) I changed my Sige FOV to 90 (what I use), setted my sens to 1 (lowest discrepancy) and calculated "Hipfire (Advanced)" 2) (Pic 2 I can't upload) Now I'm calculated "Iron sight (Advanced)", setted my aim sens to 51 (lowest discrepancy). FOV changed back to 60. When I was calculating hipfire, changing it to 90 made sens, because 90 here and 90 there. But Iron sight and ACOG has different FOV.... The question IS: Should I change my fov to 90 from default 60 when I calculate ADS (iron sight or ACOG) I did understood (I hope) how viewspeed differs from 360 rotation. Basicly I can use 360 to calculate hipfire speed (in games with same FOV) and use viewspeed to calculate magnifying scopes sensetivity. BUT, should I change FOV value when I calculating scopes sensetivity, or ADS sensetivity when ingame fov is changing. Is calculator setting "correct" fov by default, or should I change it to 90 (the one I use for hipfire)
