All of these together does appear to actually fix the floaty camera behaviour but as they mentioned, it makes the sens kind of ridiculous, and also has lots of "pixel skipping" which i don't think is what people call that anymore. You can see the individual registrations of mouse input very very clearly between each step. Haven't tried with just the last 2 configs yet.
-
I also think the mouse feels like ass.
-
The mod is marked as obsolete but still has a functional multiplier in the mod settings. https://www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/119 I still use it because i've continued using it since it was uploaded.

Seems as though the FoV options in the calculator do not represent the current iteration of how the game allows you to configure the settings in the menu.
-
Both of these options are mouse filtering and acceleration. You probably need them on because your DPI is too high. They're not feasible to create useful calcs for. (mb for double post.)

My settings on MWII can't be replicated in the calculator for conversion. I use a 1.78 coefficient with a 0.81x on ads on relative ads, but i can't input the 0.81 on the calculator, so i can't replicate these settings across games. This particular combination of settings doesn't seem possible to input.
-
Disregard, will post on the MWII thread.

Is this games FOV slider still using vertical? 100 ingame feels nothing like what i expected.
-
Hugely appreciated man, thanks

Hey Wiz, there's some debate atm about what the mouse smoothing mode entry in the config file actually does since it seems to have 3 settings 0, 1 and 2 that are reset every major patch. The ingame UI only has on/off which makes that kinda strange. For me personally I find it difficult to tell what it's doing if anything, was wondering if you had an interest in investigating?

oh thats totally what the previous poster was referring to i'm an idiot. Sorry i saw the values in the calc and came to post immediately.

Hi, it seems Project Warlock has changed its sensitivity range again as the minimum is no longer 30.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection / Halo: Reach

When i stopped using rivatuner i had less microstutter. Give that a try. -
It's not the mechanics that are making it difficult for me, no, i was specifically referring to the behaviour of the input. I guess part of the issue is low dpi for small targets as well as terrible sensitivity range.

Here's a question, have you noticed it feeling different in Red Dead Online when compared to single player? If you've tried that is.
-
It is off, yes. I can feel that the deadzones are fixed but it just seems like i can't move precisely enough at low DPI and moving quickly is extremely fast. Feels akin to that of acceleration or inconsistent counts or something. Smoothing all the way to the left is off, yes? Because on playstation some of those bars were disabled when moved all the way to the right in the controller section. At this point its hard to tell if things are made better or worse by making changes. Edit: I've also tried raw input and direct input under all the conditions of each change i've made. It just feels horrendously floaty and untrustworthy. they also introduced some obvious camera oscillation in third person with no weapons drawn with the deadzone patch.
-
Something still seems wrong with the input in this game. Every movement i make is either too slow or too fast, so far nothing else i play has made me feel so much like I have to place my crosshair in wait of my target to intersect themselves with it. Anyone else feeling like they have some issues? I can't hit a train from horseback, i know that much.

Setting mouse smoothing and aim assist to max in pc controls made input bearable for me. It almost seems like everything but deadzone in the controls does the reverse of what it says. I also set acceleration to max in the controller settings and deadzone to minimum, even stayed on raw input despite what others say. Try that out.
