Incorrect Sensitivity Conversion from Windows to Valorant/CS2

Hi!

The calculator incorrectly converts the sensitivity from Windows to Valorant and CS2 – the values are NOT the same in the game. The conversion from CS2 to Valorant sensitivity is correct, but when converting from Windows, it differs, even when MDV is set instead of 360 distance, results are incorrect, sensitivity in-game is entirely different.

These two games have different a FOV, so it's expected that they are different when converting from Windows. When converting from 2D to 3D, the resolution of the 2D part and FOV of the 3D part is what dictates the sensitivity. If you set the same FOV in CS2 as in Valorant by enabling cheats in the calculator, you will get the same result.

Ah, indeed... after a quick search, it turns out that Valorant has a different, larger FOV... For some reason, I was absolutely convinced that both games had the FOV set to 90, which is why I made this post. Thanks for the reply. I guess I’ll just have to convert the mouse sensitivity from CS2 to Valorant if I want to maintain the same crosshair movement in both games.

Opposite, they use different FOV types, so CS2 has a larger FOV. You can see the actual FOV in the calculations output of the calculator.

For 16:9, CS2 has 106.26 while Valorant has 103 degrees.
