Taco_dweller Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) Sir, DPI wizard with all due respect its been over a year and you still have not created the calculator I have been dying to use. Please either finish the job ASAP or give it to somebody else. Thanks, Michael Also sorry to bother you but how long do you think it will be until it is out I can't wait!!! Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 3, 2015 Author Wizard Posted July 3, 2015 It will come, not so high priority on old games tough
machete Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) It will come, not so high priority on old games tough Is this a personal preference? I think there's probably plenty of demand for older games on the calc! If you ever get around to explaining your methodology, I'm happy to contribute results. (I'm also interested in Bioshock!) I definitely want to add all possible games, but I but most focus on new releases since the demand for them are bigger in general
stereo3D Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 it's possible to adjust the sensitivity precisely in the config and it scales with fov (e.g. setFOV 100). there is also a very handy script where you only have to enter the dpi and it will tune the sensitivity to 16cm/360°. http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/BioShock#Mouse_acceleration

FOV does not affect sensitivity however
stereo3D Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 when i change fov like this then the sensitivity changes a lot: [Default]I=setFOV 100| set Engine.PlayerInput MouseAccelThreshold 0.0 | set Engine.PlayerInput MouseSmoothingMode 0K=setFOV 75| set Engine.PlayerInput MouseAccelThreshold 0.0 | set Engine.PlayerInput MouseSmoothingMode 0
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted February 14, 2016 Author Wizard Posted February 14, 2016 when i change fov like this then the sensitivity changes a lot: [Default]I=setFOV 100| set Engine.PlayerInput MouseAccelThreshold 0.0 | set Engine.PlayerInput MouseSmoothingMode 0K=setFOV 75| set Engine.PlayerInput MouseAccelThreshold 0.0 | set Engine.PlayerInput MouseSmoothingMode 0 I'm getting some variable results here, tried with both built-in FOV and 3rd party FOV changer. I'll dig a little bit to find out what's going on.
stereo3D Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 the horizontal fov lock option was replaced with a fov slider in the remaster. fov type is now resolution based. semmlis 1
spyder256 Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 (edited) Could this game be updated? To allow changeable fov and possibly to work with this tool in which you can set mouse sensitivity to 6 decimal places. https://www.nexusmods.com/bioshock/mods/1 I'm also curious what "Sync Mouse To Framerate" is and if that would be a positive or negative thing. Oh and Bioshock 2 Remaster as well, which the tool also works with Edited May 24, 2020 by spyder256
spyder256 Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Oh and this game appears to be Hdeg Res fov type as well (Bioshock 1 Remastered)
