Could you add every character that would be relevant similar to how you included some of the overwatch characters?

@DPI Wizard The two characters that would need a conversion are black widow(sniper) and punisher(turret).

I have not noticed any smoothing issues with this game, so it probably does nothing.

Are we Talking about acceleration or smoothing.
just to know, is it even possible to Test if there is mouse smoothing?

Both, mouse input is 100% accurate no matter how I test on my end at least.

Yes, depending on what kind of smoothing (frame smoothing, input smoothing etc), there's different tests that can be done.

Smoothing doesn't always lead to inaccurate sensitivity in terms of distance, sometimes it just adds input lag (which feels horrible).

Even with the mouse smoothing issue out of the way, the mouse inputs still feel off. It's very slippery. I figured it was the FOV but Strinova has a smaller FOV and mouse inputs feel fine. Any idea what this could be? I have a similar issue with Valorant and warzone 1

Other games I'm basing mouse input from:
- CS2, Siege, The Finals, Apex, and Overwatch.

Yeah, I noticed this too. I had to set MDV to 0% to make my micro-movements feel like my normal sensitivity. I’ve also noticed that games like Valorant, CS2, and Fortnite (Performance Mode) feel slippery, probably because they’re more CPU-based.

I lowered my polling rate from 2k to 1k, it feels slightly better, but I'm not sure if it's placebo.

Has anyone figured out the ads sens for Black Widow to get the same 1:1 as Overwatch? I tried using the calculator but I got two different numbers when converting two different ways and I'm confused. Does someone with more knowledge than me at using this tool know what the value is?

One of my attempts got me the number 0.85, which feels decently ok, but I'm not sure if that's quite it.

If you get two different numbers you have either changed source FOV (i.e. what you are converting from) or the conversion setup for the scope.

If you link your two conversions using the purple share button I can see what's wrong.

Going from my old overwatch settings/screen to my marvel rivals settings and new screen I get a 0.69. I think when I did things differently yesterday(I was sleep deprived so i don't remember quite what I did) I got 0.85. Just now I did the good old put something on the screen and measure the amount I need to move my mouse to cover the same visual distance to cover ~40% of the screen and that landed me in the area of 0.90.

Here's the OW scoped widowmaker/Ana to marvel rivals, I did use two different screens for those so it could confuse things. Got 0.69

Trying to convert straight from hipfire to black widow ads(I'm probably missing something or doing something wrong here) I'm getting 1:0

Edit: 1.0 might actually be it? my measuring mouse movement for screen distance by hand is somewhat inaccurate, hence me trying to use the tool.

This will keep the same tracking speed within Rivals, but it will not match Black Widow. For that you need to do like in your first conversion, although I'm not sure where you got Mouse Horizontal Sensitivity 2.46 from for Rivals?

@DPI WizardAfter todays update the sensitivity feels a lot faster than before (it used to take my full mousepad left to to right to do a 360, but it's about 75% of it), and I don't have a reliable way to test if its worse or better than previously. It doesn't feel like there is acceleration (hard to test because doing an exact straight swipe extremely fast by hand is pretty inaccurate), but If you have the time, can you do a quick test to see if its inconsistent or has some kind of accel applied to it? Thank you!

When they added the "fix" for the acceleration issues, they actually introduced acceleration...

What happens now is that some packets from the mouse gets duplicated, meaning the mouse sends a packet to move for instance 100 counts, and the game does this twice. This happens randomly, but in effect it is actually random acceleration.

I use 34.6cm/360 and 1600dpi which is 2.5 in OW and 0.75 in CS. In rivals that's 0.94 which is correct but for black widow scope, converting from OW the ADS multiplier should be 0.80 and from CS it's 0.75. Why the difference? 0.80 feels more correct for 1:1 in and out of scope by the way.

This bug was just fixed a few hours ago, so it should work correctly now!

Mouse Acceleration:

We have identified a bug affecting mouse sensitivity for players. This issue creates the perception that mouse speed has increased compared to the previous patch, similar to having mouse acceleration enabled. The effect is more noticeable at higher sensitivity settings, while lower settings may experience only subtle changes.

When you convert from OW, the source FOV is 103 16:9 hdeg / 70.5328 vdeg, but when you convert from CS it's 90 4:3 hdeg / 73.739795. So the difference in the FOV of the source affects the output calculations, unless you use the same conversion method for hipfire as you use for the scopes.

do you mean that 0.75 ADS mimics the screen distance sensitivity of hipfire CS? Shouldn't it simply give a number for 1:1 within marvel rivals? For example if you enter your hipfire sens in the "convert from" section, it tells you your OW widow ADS should be 37.89 and your CS AWP first scope should be 0.818933, etc. For marvel rivals currently it just says 1.00 for every ADS sensitivity which must be false.
