H.M.Master Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Whatever 4:3 or 16:9, the fov won't change in valorant ,but the calculator will change the fov when i change the ratio. Fix it plz.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted April 28, 2024 Wizard Posted April 28, 2024 The FOV in Valorant is locked to 103 horizontal degrees for 16:9 regardless of your aspect ratio. The correct actual FOV will be calculated based on this.
H.M.Master Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 Yes, but valorant's fov still changed here when i changed the ratio.
H.M.Master Posted April 29, 2024 Author Posted April 29, 2024 and sens which was calculated from cs2 will be different in different ratio but in same other settings.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted April 29, 2024 Wizard Posted April 29, 2024 The FOV in the game is locked to 103 HFOV for 16:9. In other words, the vertical FOV is fixed to 70.5328 regardless of your aspect ratio. If you play in 4:3, the vertical FOV will still be 70.5328 so the horizontal will be narrower than 103.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted April 30, 2024 Wizard Posted April 30, 2024 It's the same concept as this in CS2, where the FOV is locked to 90 for 4:3. If you change aspect ratio, the horizontal FOV will change, but the vertical stays the same.
