New Fortnite scopes

The newest Fortnite patch added a number of new scopes, including 2 different 1x's, a 2x, and a 4x.

The gunplay almost primarily plays through these scopes now.

Currently, there is only an option to adjust for sniper scope in sens calc.

The new scopes have added 2-3 different levels of FOV scaling.

I was wondering if we are going to get a tweak to the sens calc for this, or if anyone knows of a way that I can figure out how to find the change in FOV's so I can attempt the sens conversion myself?

I've gone through I think all weapons now, updated the description and added two need zoom levels (for DMR and Scoped Burst SMG).

Note that a lot of weapon zooms might look different even though they are the same, since some are over-the-shoulder while others are scoped.

Let me know if I missed any!

The new scopes in the game look like:

1x, 2x, 4x

Should I assume that the scoped burst SMG is the 1x?

I don't know how to interpret the other things you added.

The new optics are described like this 

  • Sniper Scope (4x scoped view)
  • P2X Optic (2x scoped view)
  • Holo-13 Optic (1.3x scoped view)
  • Red Eye Sight (1.15x scoped view)

They always spawn in the same places in game.

If it makes it easier I can duo with u and bring you to the bench almost 100% of the time :D

Much appreciated for the work here.

If I may ask, how do you go about adding these things and making them work accurately within the sens calc system? I'm curious how you can measure FOV changes?

Also, you added an option called "ADS". What is this in reference to in game?

For this game I can just measure the 360 distance and deduct the FOV from that since it scales directly with the 16:9 FOV. Other than that I can measure the FOV manually using script etc.

Targeting is anything that is shoulder aim without any zoom (the camera just moves closer).

ADS is shoulder aim with a little bit of zoom. See this gif, from hipfire, to targeting, to ADS:
