doomsday00000 Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Hello. recently i used the calculator to convert my sensetivity off of roblox (0.07056) into tarkovs sensetivity, yet when i did the sensetivity didnt match up, im using windows zoom at 100 so there should be no issue of roblox sense being 1.5x etc higher. when i do the 360 in tarkov it seems to come up short, the hip being 0.20 and the aim 0.19
doomsday00000 Posted December 5, 2023 Author Posted December 5, 2023 i also have the fov on the calculator for tarkov at 63, and 63 in game, along with the correct 16:9 aspect ratio, monitor size, resolution etc
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted December 5, 2023 Wizard Posted December 5, 2023 Can you link your conversion using the purple share button?

How much shorter does it come up when you test it? There is a difference of about 0.3 inches for hipfire due to the limitations of the in-game sensitivity in Tarkov. Also note that if you are wearing any gear in Tarkov that gives you "Change Turning Speed", you need to add them all up and enter the total into the Sensitivity 1 field.
doomsday00000 Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 yeah after some testing gear REALLY impacts it, thats weird, that really messes up reflex. but yeah it comes up short here clip.mp4

You need to test with the distance listed in the Tarkov output, 18 inches. Not 17.70625. Or use the config file, where the discrepancy will be virtually zero.
doomsday00000 Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 oh shit if i do it through config it surpasses the limmits? dope
doomsday00000 Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 hmmm seems the config file resets every time i edit it for tarkov and go ingame
