epitome89 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Hi, I'm playing stretched, and realized I wanted to do a 40:27 aspect ratio (1600x1080) stretched on a 1920x1080 monitor, because that's the only way to get 96 FOV in CS:GO. 96 is what I've started using in other shooters, for some reason. Now, to make the vertical sensitivity also correct when stretching, the Counter Strike community change m_yaw from the default 0.22, using this formula. [(40/27)/(16/9)]*0.022 = 0.018333 How can I convert my 360 sensitivity in Overwatch (2.08 @96 FOV, 1920x1080) to Counter Strike (X.X @96.025575 FOV, m_yaw 0.018333, 1600x1080)

But vertical sensitivity is quicker about 16,8% for 360° and by rough average 1,4% (5,3% max. at edge of screen) for monitor distance in CS:GO

I must be blind: I don't see where you can edit the m-yaw value.

Any idea why vertical is quicker? Isn't that the point of adjusting m_yaw, so you don't get "ellipsis" aim, when making circles IRL with the mouse.
