benedu3095 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 (edited) Just wondering, is it possible to adjust the FOV by hex editing the corresponding config file (think it's either display or gameSettings.sav)? Edited June 7, 2024 by benedu3095 Forgot to add some context. Adjust beyond the annoying set values, or below/beyond the 90/120 limit.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted June 10, 2024 Author Wizard Posted June 10, 2024 Yes, you can set it in display.sav. But I think the range is the same and you have to use a whole number, however you can set it in increments of 1. Use the "ULEB128" data format. benedu3095 1

Values lower than 90 seem to work fine, but going over 120 just breaks FOV; instead of becoming wider it becomes way narrower (tried it with 132). So yeah, if anyone with an ultrawide monitor is reading this, just follow this guide and the poor ultrawide implementation will be fixed. Here is what I'm rocking and I can confirm in works flawlessly: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=53659ce78fcf91cb8519ce068ee73e12 DPI Wizard 1
