o.O Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Why is it that in Rainbow Six the resolution is allowed to be 1920X1080 and the 4:3 aspect ratio is enabled in the game settings, but in CSGO I have to adjust the resolution if I want to get it to 4:3?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted June 5, 2023 Wizard Posted June 5, 2023 You can do this in CSGO to, what exactly do you mean? In most cases it doesn't change the calculation, but you should always enter your native resolution in the resolution field, and select the forced aspect ratio in the aspect ratio field.
Thanks for your answer, my English may not be very good, I would like to know why I can use 1920X1080 resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio in Rainbow Six Siege? But in CSGO to use 4:3 you have to set the game resolution to say 1280X960. is Rainbow Six Siege automatically changing the game resolution but not showing it?
Wizard Solution DPI Wizard Posted June 5, 2023 Wizard Solution Posted June 5, 2023 Ok, I see what you mean now. There is no reason why, it's just different ways of implementing this.
