Be sure to change the display scale to the one you are using in windows just right click the desktop go to display and look at the "scale" thingo it'll say maybe 125% or something, just change that on the second box to the one your windows says Edited April 18, 2023 by randomguy7
Antonio_beqa Posted April 20, 2023 Author Posted April 20, 2023 Its a bit hard for me to use this calculator please help me if you can i cant understand just one thing 1600 DPI on my mouse is same seanse of sensitivity at Desktop like it was in my old monitor but just games its faster , than gaming at 1080P for example i had 800 DPI in 1080P at 4K 1600 DPI means same yes ? Than why gaming sensitivity is so hight ? While gaming sensitivity set again to defaults ? If you can just help me to calculate. 27inch 115% scaling 800 DPI 1080p. Game sensitvity 1.0. To convert. 55inch 2160p 150% scaling , how much DPI i have to use on mouse ? And what game sensitivity ? Again 1.0 I have to use ?

Than why gaming sensitivity is so hight ? While gaming sensitivity set again to defaults ? No, sensitivity in games are generally not affected by resolution (there are a few exceptions). Just enter your data into the calculator, and it will tell you the correct sensitivity. For instance like this: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=889e99780ca5d1eba08993155c6fec6e
Antonio_beqa Posted April 29, 2023 Author Posted April 29, 2023 (edited) One more queation Default sensitivitys are working good for 800 DPI mouse or 1600 ? Becouse for example if defaults are good working on 800 DPI mouse it means while i was 27 inch 1080p i was also ising 800 DPI for gaming but now 4K on desktop need 1600 dpi does it means default sensitivitys in games will be fast for me ? And i need to half them ? As i Understand i need to Half the sensiti ity in every game becouse i have now 1600 DPI on mouse , for games 55 inch or 27 inch does not means anything am i right ? And one moee question i was using windows 115% scaling on 1080p now on 4K i am using 150% scaling what does it means ? Edited April 29, 2023 by Antonio_beqa
Quackerjack Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 (edited) Check this topic out. Drimzi gives in this a formular to calculate new fov or new sens. One more queation Default sensitivitys are working good for 800 DPI mouse or 1600 ? Becouse for example if defaults are good working on 800 DPI mouse it means while i was 27 inch 1080p i was also ising 800 DPI for gaming but now 4K on desktop need 1600 dpi does it means default sensitivitys in games will be fast for me ? And i need to half them ? You can use this site: https://www.admiralbumblebee.com/general/2017/12/08/Transfer-mouse-CPI-settings-to-a-different-resolution-device.html or the calculator to get your new dpi for the desktop. Than use the calculator to change the sensitivity to your new dpi. If you go from 800 dpi to 1600 dpi you usually have to half the sensitivity. But do this with the calculator cause on some games halfing the sens doesnt work. Adjust the sens to the monitor size is preference. Some ppl feel the need to do some dont. The windows scaling affect the windows desktop sensitivity not ingame afaik. Edited April 30, 2023 by Quackerjack

You have to double the 360 distance, but this doesn't necessarily mean halving the sensitivity. You have to use the calculator to figure out the correct sensitivity when changing DPI.
