Zylithan Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Hi, what is the best way for me to calculate a 1:1 hipfire sens and 1:1 ads sens in different games? My hipfire for example is higher in BF2042 compared to my ads. If I would like to convert this to let’s say The Cycle: Frontier, what’d be the best way to do this? Or isn’t it possible to convert it because of different fov scaling between games?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted April 8, 2023 Wizard Posted April 8, 2023 You should in most cases use a conversion between ADS and scope in different games. None of the aims have the same FOV, so if you want the same aim you'll need to use a FOV based conversion. 360 distance can in some cases be useful for low powered ADS though. What exactly is your BF2042 settings?
Zylithan Posted April 8, 2023 Author Posted April 8, 2023 For example .50 ads with 133 coefficient in Bf2042 with 800 DPI and 78 FOV

Zylithan Posted April 8, 2023 Author Posted April 8, 2023 So If I enter for example The Cycle: Frontier, I'll put aiming type on ADS. And aiming type of BF2042 on 1.25x. Like this? https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=9d00d37ff54125ef61b276206c5941f4 Would this be 1:1 ADS?

When it comes to 1:1, there is no such thing unless the FOV is exactly the same. With different FOVs you will have to convert the sensitivity in some way. What this conversion does (MDV 133% Scale 50%) is to scale the ADS exactly the same as you have it in BF2042.

Sorry haha I meant this one https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=62f5895fef34c169c28d513dd10ad577 Btw. 1.25x in BF2042 is the same as default ADS in other games? I normally never change all scope values, only the ADS sensitivity,

It's literally all over the place; In some games ADS has the same FOV as hipfire, in others it might be zooming as much as a 4x in BF2042.
