The converter gives options for ADS and Scoped sensitivities but the sliders aren't available in this Beta. Is anyone aware of a folder that would contain the config files? Checked all 3 appdata folders (Local, LocalLow, Roaming) and My Games but there's nothing.

EDIT: %localappdata%/Discovery/Saved/SaveGames/EmbarkOptionSaveGame.sav seems to contain the ADS options, but there's no setting contained in that file that I can see for the ADS or Scoped sensitivity.

No separate ADS or scope setting as of now, you have to choose which one (hipfire, ADS or scope) you want to match.

There's a typo in the path
%LOCALAPPDATA%l\Discovery\Saved\SaveGames\
should be
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Discovery\Saved\SaveGames\

A tip is that the value displayed in the menu seems to be* the first two decimals of the actual value. So you probably don't have to fiddle with a hex editor unless you need it to be exactly right.

*I set the sens to 29 in the menu and it was 0.292884 in the save file.

Correct, for most the in-game is probably accurate enough. But note that if you use a very low sensitivity, say you want to set it to 2 in-game, this can be as much as 0.029 in the config file, which is significantly higher.

It might depend on the weapon. Which weapon are you referring to, and how is it wrong?

It's not related to weapons. If you change the FOV in the game, the FOV of ADS will also be different. However, the ADSFOV on the webpage is all 72

Got it, I see they changed how ADS works. I've updated the calculations now to reflect this change.

The FoV was changed as well which does affect sens its 79 in the settings now which would be a .4 something in the config so make sure you check you are using the correct FOV when matching your sense!

Edited by dakadeep
editted to update info just have to have people double check their FoV and sense

With todays open beta they added a "mouse zoom sensitivity multiplier" option might be worth looking into it.

Thank you very much for the fast update. Just one question is there a way I can set separete sensitivites for ADS and sniper since ingame there is no option in game for the sniper.

No option as of now, you have to select which one you want to use.

I'm quite certain the conversion is incorrect for this game. I use 800dpi with 34.6cm/360, the converter tells me it's GameplayOption.Controls.MouseSensitivity 0.418354 but assuming that means 42 on the in-game settings slider, that's higher than 34.6cm. I found that 34.6cm at 800dpi in that game is more around 30 on the slider

Sensitivity is influenced by FOV in this game so make sure you set that correct in the calculator as well. 0.418354 is correct when using the default FOV of 71(in-game) but when you change that, you change the cm/360 as well.

As Scca says, it is probably the FOV. It sounds like you have set it to 100, which would correspond with your findings. I would recommend switching location to In-game if that is where you set the sensitivity, as the FOV Type is different.
