got a weird issue too wondering if you come across it before and know if its common or not i noticed in a game i was playing today life is strange remastered;(with controller)
if i keep the same settings i have for it(144hzbtw) ; g sync on - v sync on- , if i set the fps to 60 i notice that the controller sensitivity goes down ? its almost like i lowered the sens in game for control but i havent.
the way i tested this was by looking at a point in the street and then holding stick to the right and counting how many secs to come back around to same lampost,.. and without changing the in game sens option at all my sensitivity seems to be at about half than what it is when its at 144. (60 fps-8 secs)-(141 fps-4secs),,

is it that its tied to my fps ? or is it just the fps change that causes higher sensitivity in controller ? it took double the amount of time to come back to the lampost (8secs) at 60 fps compared to 4 or less with 141

do you know what this is please ? , any ideas

Without having tried this specific game, my guess is that this is the issue yes. There's plenty of games in the Unsupported category on this site for this exact reason.

thanks for your reply, so based on my test you think its tied to fps right ?

and also is this normal behaviour for the controller to increase in sens after changing my fps to higher value ?

It's not very normal or intentional by the developers of the game, but it happens in quite a few games. It's the same issue if you use a mouse.

same behaviour regardless of input right so it dont matter if i use a mouse or controller in these games the result will be the same right ?

It varies, in some games it only affects mouse, others both.

i was just thinking , if you can picture this scenario; so got a cap in game of 141 fps , BUT my fps varies (sometimes 80 sometimes 141) ,,, assuming the game in question is like life is strange and gets faster with more fps in this situation the fps AND sensitivity will be constanlty fluctuating right ? do you see what i mean

Correct, this is the reason why such games can't be added to the calculator, it's almost impossible to get a stable sensitivity. For some games it does work to lock the FPS assuming your computer can keep it stable.

so for these games that fluctate ill just cap the fps
