Nabatian Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 Wouldn't moving the camera back affect the sensitivity just a little bit, because it certainly does feel faster than other games with the same sens. I tried to compensate treating the game as if it were bumped to 90 FOV and the sens felt more similar then with 85. This doesn't mean its actually like that, but it definitely feels so.

The FOV and 360 distance is the same, and that's all we can use to calculate the sensitivity. If we were to adjust for camera distance, we need to know the exact distance from the camera to the center of rotation and the exact distance from the center of rotation to the thing you are targeting. If you are moving your camera to aim at something very far away that's at the edge of you monitor you will get a completely different distance than if that something is right in front of you although they initially appeared at the same spot on you monitor.
