randomguy7 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I feel like this could be very helpful for those of us who use a variety of guns and scopes.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted December 1, 2022 Wizard Posted December 1, 2022 It can be done, but the average will in many cases not make sense. Say you have a game with 5 different pistol aims and one sniper; the average will be in no-mans land. But for games that have a nice range of scopes it will make more sense.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted December 2, 2022 Wizard Posted December 2, 2022 Actually, the more I look into the this the more issues I see. We can't just do an average of all the numbers, because: Some games have aims with the same FOV but a different 360 distance. Others have the same 360 distance but different FOV. Some just have an arbitrary 360 distance and FOV for the aims, with no logical connection. Also some users might use 360 distance for ADS and monitor distance for scopes, which will throw the average way out of whack. And as mentioned there might be an imbalance of the aim distribution, so the average you get is neither here nor there. So unfortunately this can't be done in any meaningful way. It might work for a few games, but for those the sensitivity will already be so close you can just pick the middle one.
