heckminth Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 What is the full mathematical calculation to convert Desktop to CSGO with MDV 0%? Why does this always maintain 1 pixel/count no matter what CPI is used? Example: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=02577c243ad5d77b2174528deaca06e7
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 8, 2022 Wizard Posted July 8, 2022 Just now, heckminth said: Why does this always maintain 1 pixel/count no matter what CPI is used? Because if you are changing the CPI on both sides, you keep the exact same relation between the two. Just like converting say sensitivity 3.6 from CSGO to Overwatch will give you the exact same result with 400 DPI as with 4000 DPI. The 360 distance will obviously change, but the sensitivity will stay the same. heckminth 1
heckminth Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 I understand that we use tan(radians/2) for MDV 0% between different FOVs, but what about 2D to 3D?

Like I said in the dm you sent me, it's pixel ratio. A formula to work this out was kindly posted by Drimzi here: heckminth 1
