Delorean37 Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 (edited) Hi guys, I recently got a 1440p monitor and had to put windows zoom to 125% to have everything at the same size as on 1080p, which I had before. Now my sensitivity is 25% faster on desktop right? That's why I put my cursor speed (the one from 1 to 20 in windows settings) to the value 8 (control panel setting has now changed from 6/11 to 5/11), because it reduces my dpi of 750 by 25% (6/8) again. This shouldn't affect any of my in-game sensitivities right? Please let me know if I got something wrong. Edited February 20, 2022 by Delorean37

Yes, but it's close to what you had before with 1080p. 10 hours ago, Delorean37 said: That's why I put my cursor speed (the one from 1 to 20 in windows settings) to the value 8 (control panel setting has now changed from 6/11 to 5/11), because it reduces my dpi of 750 by 25% (6/8) again. This will get you close to what the cursor speed is without 125% zoom yes. But reducing by 25% is not the same as increasing by 25%, so it's slightly off. Reducing it by 20% would be a perfect match. 10 hours ago, Delorean37 said: This shouldn't affect any of my in-game sensitivities right? Some games are affected by WPS, so it depends. If they are affected, the WPS field in the calculator is unlocked. Delorean37 1
