I wanna change the windows sens to normal since I changed it to lower a long time ago

Ayo gamers, a long time ago I changed my windows10 sensitivity settings to lower because I thought it was too high for me. I changed it to 4 since the normal default setting is 6 (Settings>Devices>Mouse>Additional mouse options>Pointer Options to 4). The problem is, now that I want to change it back to 6 and I don't know how is that gonna affect me in games or how should I change my ingame sensitivity to match the one I have now. The game I play the most is Valorant with 0.31 ingame sens and 800 DPI, windows settings 4.

Note that you can not necessarily apply the multiplier directly to the sensitivity. It works for some games but not all, as in this example with Elder Scrolls Online where you obviously can't multiply anything by 0 to get a new sensitivity: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=9c5f556e01511bfac56983b4f8db0a50

I ran into this in the game dead by daylight, when it shows 0 in the game, then in the files is a multiplier for vertical and horizontal, I found it, it was 1, I put 0.5 and was able to make calculations under the right sensitivity.

I haven't found a multiplier in Dead by Daylight, where did you find it?

Either way, anything you multiply by 0 will be 0 so I don't see how it helps. How would you calculate say twice the 360 distance for sensitivity of 0 using that?

When the interface shows 0, it doesn't tell us how the game works. I think this was only done as a shell, and the game itself can not take the dpi and multiply by 0. Something like adding cursor speed 0(1?)-50(5?)

I used that one:

"C:\Users\<Your_Account_Name>\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\input.ini"
By using notepad, and change the "Scale=" values in the following two lines:
AxisMappings=(AxisName="LookUp",Key=MouseY,Scale=-1)
AxisMappings=(AxisName="Turn",Key=MouseX,Scale=1)
-0.5 and 0.5 respectively will cut the sensitivity in half.

Here's another option. This method reminded me of setting up sens "Grounded" through config.

I have now installed dbd and decided to check everything. Need a trigger for the lines to appear in the file, I do not know which one: change the key bind settings, change the graphics settings and\or pass the training for the survivor. I did it all together LOL.

And in this file you can set integers, for example 51 instead of 50 or 1 instead of 0

@DPI Wizard I can't understand how the multiplier calculation works. I set the centimeter and get say S-"19" K-"-1(0)" I go to check with the Sensitivity Matcher. The results are close, but as soon as I start to check the sensitivity by hand, there is a striking discrepancy. If I have cm/360 "32.7376" and the game does not change the multiplier because of the FoV difference, then the arm should turn 90\180\360 degrees without any problems. The hand travels the same distance on the mousepad, dbd gives a different angle of rotation. I started looking for a close ratio and it is S-35% K-30%. Can FoV and Pixel ratio change input that much?. Something similar I felt when doing calculations for WoT, having 103 FoV in third person (with the ability to zoom in and out), switching to the sight x1=103FoV I felt the difference in speed (which is in principle a clear reason for me) But in WoT the centimeter was the same when the viewpoint was different(Around the Axis and Center of the Circle), because the viewpoint from the gun and from 3-person is different. I don't know everything, but dbd is baffling.

Try lowering your polling rate to 125Hz, the game might have issues with high polling rates.

With 125 it works as it should
