StrugglePuff Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Hi, so I am new to this website and I was wondering how to use the calculator the "correct" way. I currently use 1600 DPI and 10% in game sensitivity in Battlefield 1, and want to convert that over to PUBG. I should also mention that I do not use Uniform soldier aiming, and that I use x1.25 magnification on pretty much every gun that allows it. ADS FOV is ON.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 8, 2017 Wizard Posted September 8, 2017 What FOV do you use in BF1 and PUBG?
StrugglePuff Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) I use 74 (90) in BF1, and 103 in PUBG. So I came with up with these settings. Am I doing this right? Why are my 360 degree rotations different than each other? Edited September 9, 2017 by StrugglePuff
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 13, 2017 Wizard Posted September 13, 2017 You are doing it right. The 360 distance is different because the FOV is different. You can choose to match 360 distance instead for hipfire, some prefer that. But for scopes use monitor distance or viewspeed.
StrugglePuff Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Okay thanks. So just to be sure I have two screenshots here. One is converted using 360, and one is using the viewspeed. As you can see, I use 120FOV in BO3, but 74(90) in BF1. Does that mean I should use the viewspeed conversion over the 360?

That's actually up to you, what you prefer. Do you want the muscle memory to aiming to stuff on screen converted, or the muscle memory of doing quick 90 and 180 degree turns.
StrugglePuff Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Actually prefer to be able to aim to the targets on screen. So for that it's better to use viewspeed?
