SecondReality Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Hello Guys. I did not understand what happens if the games use different FOV values. Let me axplain. For example, in Black Ops 1, the sensitivity is 2.5 and the H-Fov is 80 When ADS is activated, the game scales the sensitivity based of the new fov, so if it scales 80 -> 70 se sens will be 2,5 - > 2,18 If i want convert the sensitivity from Black Ops 1 which uses 2.5 with 80 H-Fov to a game wich uses 110 H-Fov... Should i manually scale the Output Given by Mouse-Sensitivity ? Basically, should i simulate a "scaling" ? Or i should just use the sens given by the tool ? Let's act as if the fov cannot be changed, like in csgo. Csgo is locked to 106. Shoud i manual scale the output sens to 106?
TheNoobPolice Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 You can scale it however you want, it's just preference. That's what the calculator gives you the tools to do. For example, using focal length scaling or a monitor distance
