Recommendations for ADS/SCOPE calculations converted to ALL games (from hipfire)

I have spent a while gnawing at a lot of different combinations in the calculator, mostly Monitor Distance Vertical %'s and none of them seem to feel natural at all zoom levels across the board. I use Hunt: Showdown to do a lot of these tests. I match FOV as closely as possible wherever I can. The base sensitivity I like to apply to all games is a hipfire from CS:GO or Valorant and use the calculator from there.

Any suggestions for different calculations I would gladly appreciate.

I am aware of

  • 0%-250% MDV
  • 100% MDH
  • VSV
  • VSH

I just use 0% until the amount of FOV change (i.e zooming in) starts to feel to slow, so I increase the sens by feel for higher zoom scopes if it's possible in the game.

I probably end up with the equivalent of around 100-133% MDV for very high zooms, 50-90% MDV for medium or "4x" scopes, and 0% for anything like 1x-3x zoom (ish).

But I just do this by feel now to be honest.

200% mdh feels best for me when u changes your fov on fly

That is interesting, I'll keep that in mind. My minimum I have found is 133%-166%. I might try 200% soon.

Yeah I would have liked for that to be the case, however I was getting to 250% MDV and I was still unhappy. We might be on the opposite ends of each other if you are REDUCING your values at lower FOVs haha.

Going by feel has worked for me in the past, then I tried to find any calculations that fits the bias of what I configured by "feel".

I kinda wish there was a way for the calculator to work backwards to tell you what the closest calculation is to your manually, in-game configured "feel" sensitivities.
