Nick Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 if the fov doesn't match fully, ex: in apex I want to match at 110 and overwatch has only 103, csgo has 90. does the calculator match it as accurate as possible so muscle memory is retained , or is there some setting needed to help with the conversion, like matching the fov type, exc. I'm using monitor distance horizontal for everything and its been great just curious Thankyou
miserific Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Match the fov type across all games if you can, if not try to match with a 0% monitor match, some games like battlefield and modern warfare already do this with certain settings enabled, with 0% monitor match your muscle memory is retained, because 0% mm goes off focal length "angle percent" of fov instead of cm/360 it matches flicks and tracking, but all of this only matters when fov is reduced or increased, otherwise just use cm/360.
