kgjkdsjgS5 Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I Fucked up big time for the past 2 or 3 years I've been playing kovaaks at fov 90 16:9 while practicing for counter strike. So I was using kovaaks on 90 fov 16:9, Then noticing the source 4:3 setting I clicked it to see what would happen. Obviously it looked different and my aim sucked and I got confused. Now I know I should have used source 4:3 to start with and I'm trying to convert the kovaaks sens I've been using into cs go. I came up with .094 but I am much worse in kovaaks with this sens at least on clicking scenarios, tracking is worse but only a little bit. Did I do anything wrong or will this just take some getting used to? I know it's never perfect going from one fov to another. Just asking for a second opinion as I spend an insane amount of time playing cs and I don't want to screw myself over again.
kgjkdsjgS5 Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Also the settings in the calculator are a bit off I think Kovaaks changed the fov/sen settings names recently. There is no quake/16:9 for instance just 16:9
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 28, 2021 Wizard Posted July 28, 2021 If you've been using MDV 0% you have been training with the same tracking speed in a slightly zoomed view. Shouldn't be too bad to readjust I think. 8 minutes ago, kgjkdsjgS5 said: Also the settings in the calculator are a bit off I think Kovaaks changed the fov/sen settings names recently. Thanks for clearing that up it makes sense. But unfortunately I was using cm 360 believing that the fov was the exact same.
